That’s the best part about those guys. Just put more engine on it and let’s go. Only drag in the water would have been a rudder and maybe a skeg. Should be around the time dragsters with chutes became mainstream too. Back when the media downplayed crazy stuff.

When men were men and the National Anthem meant something. No woke ass corporate shit, hell NASCAR guys had cigarette lighters in the car.
Al Bush would crash blown fuel flat at 150 mph testing on Wednesday (no capsules in those days) and show up for a race on Saturday with a new boat and set records.
