Would love to hear the stories. My Dad was on the crew of the Hustler, he has some great stories and pictures from the chase for the record.
That’s the best part about those guys. Just put more engine on it and let’s go. Only drag in the water would have been a rudder and maybe a skeg. Should be around the time dragsters with chutes became mainstream too. Back when the media downplayed crazy stuff.Misjudged the area needed to slow down a 300 mph boat riding on air????
Like anyone would know?
When men were men and the National Anthem meant something. No woke ass corporate shit, hell NASCAR guys had cigarette lighters in the car. That’s the best part about those guys. Just put more engine on it and let’s go. Only drag in the water would have been a rudder and maybe a skeg. Should be around the time dragsters with chutes became mainstream too.
