Havasu weekend of the 19/20

Never been to Havasu, thinkin of maybe running over for a few days to check it out. Just wondering anything goin on that wkend, and any advice on route for trip( from Sac C.A.) also decent places to stay and what to see en do while there. Any input/advice appreciated.

The Nautical Inn, The Heat Hotel, and The London Bridge Resort would be the best waterfront places to stay.

Shugrues is a good place to eat with some view of the London Bridge.
Javalina Cantina is another place to eat near the bridge.
Barley Bros is another

Cha Bones has a good happy hour, but get there early to find a seat.
Martini Bay at London Bridge Resort has a decent happy hour
College Street brewery is always a favorite
Hanger 24 at the airport has a good burger

Flying X saloon for Country dancin'
Martini Bay has Top 40 dancing Friday and Sat nights
Kokomos is where the younger crowd goes to party.

LA boat show, you could hit it up on the way out if you leave Friday morning. Its right in between the 10fwy and the 210fwy, so it doesn't matter what freeway you take you will be driving by it.

Nope, I asked her just before I left for work and she said 17-20th, so I was listening, I mean the boat show is important, so of course I'm going to listen.

going to be out there that weekend to check on boat and pick Interior design and colors..
also take a ride out to desert cabin.. maybe even check out desert bar in parker

I forgot to mention Breakfast at the Red Onion. They have some excellent Bloody Marys.

Also take a ferry over to Havasu Landing for lunch.
