Depleting the ozone layer, global warming, tarantula laying in wait outside of garage, and now a gator stalking a paddleboarder? I'm thinking "Day of the Animals" was more than just a movie. Let that sink in...

šŸ¤£ damn gators. I spent a lot of time in Georgia growing up and we used to boat on the flint river and you would be wakeboarding and pass gators sun bathing on the beach sometimes. When I would fall I swear I couldnā€™t get back in the boat fast enough šŸ¤£šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

That gal has bigger balls than anyone on this site.
She was a cool as a cucumber.

I wouldā€™ve crapped that clear water brownā€¦

There is a fine line between courage, and arrogance.
I'm pretty damn arrogant, but know my limits on what animals can kill my ass!

She won't make it a week if she's a tourist.... she may be a dumb local though based on her comment "someones been feeding that gator". Thats not normal gator behavior.... unlike sharks they don't do the bump test before biting.

Cleaver props on everything!
I think pushing it away would have been my last thought...
Would have been biblical, walking on water.
I wouldn't have to think about what to do, I wouldn't have been out there on a paddle board anyway.
Randy Corson, ā€œwild manā€ ripped a gearcase off one of his boats after hitting a gator here in the St Johnā€™s. It didnā€™t end well for anyone. šŸ˜œ

Yes it is very clear and gorgeous, I took a glass bottom boat tour of silver springs, the boats are electric as to not pollute the water.
That spot looks like it could be blue spring or silver springs. The water at silver Glen is even nicer.

They usually stay out of the springs because the water is too cold. Plenty of big boys on the St. Johns though. Spent the first half of my life water skiing and swimming down there! St. Johns, Lake Jessup, the canals south of Melbourne....you honestly just get used to them. They typically stay away from people, boats and such. I would agree with what she said....somebody has been feeding that one. That's about the only reason they would come that close. Good times! šŸ˜Ž

Lol I love the patronizing questions, "why are you messing with me?!?!"

I bet her husband hears the same thing everytime he tries to get lucky!
