If you're from the Parker area, then you know it sunk in June of this year. Well I have a friend that know's the boat and told me about it, says it was going up for auction. So I put in a bid and ended up buying it. The plans are to rebuild the boat but keep with the "Fire Boat" heritage that it was built as. 525 merc and XR, new interior and repair all the gel coat, it is going back to Conquest for a lot of the work starting in January. I have it in Phoenix doing all the prep work (taking it all apart), way cheaper for me to do it then to pay someone!

Post your build in the lounge. It will get more attention. :)

Cool! I read about it "sinking". Thought it was more of a firepump issue than the boat itself. Really a good hull to start with. Should be fun.

Oh, and welcome to the insanity;)

Did they leave the pump and nozzle in the front of it?

It was a coupler from the fire pump, that broke and filled the boat with water.

Ok, well after 3 months of disassembly and cleaning, the boat got dropped off with Pedro at Saleen Fiberglass in Havasu. Here are a few current pics. More to follow.

Wow! That's a lot more "disassembled" than I was thinking. Guessing she'll be a pretty new boat when done.

I know! Crazy what happens, the tabbing broke loose from the hull. Ended up pulling the top half off of the bottom half. Now going to basically be a new hull, LOL.
