I didn’t want to muddy up my union thread. So does Sander’s scare the shit out of you guys? The rest of your guys candidates seem pretty nutty with socialist leaning views also, with the exception of Bloomberg. I would think the Democratic Party would be fully behind Bloomberg, as I think he’s the only Candidate on your guys side that stands a chance against Trump, and doesn’t seem to be full of crazy ideas. Obviously I want Trump to win but Bloomberg getting in scares me the least out of the all the democratic candidates . Are dems on here more moderate or leftist/socialist leaning? Again I don’t know it all and I don’t ever come down here in the dungeon but this Crazy Sanders momentum has the shit scared out of me.

Not happy about it but not worried. As we’ve seen with the current president, campaign promises rarely come to fruition.

So would you still vote for Sanders or just not vote? I know when McCain was running I didn’t like or trust him so I just didn’t vote.

Whether it be massive spending increases and higher deficits under the Democrats or under Trump, it all worries me for the future of America.

But the fact remains that both sides support massive increases in government spending, just for different things.

Yep I get that. I just don’t get the Socialist/Sander thing. I don’t know how he’s not in some party all by himself.

Agree with you.

However I believe the economy with Trump in office another 4 years will generate more long term income taxes required to fund it all and pay down debt, if possible. The Socialist, free everything for all who want to sit back and coast, way to generate income taxes will burn the “stimulus bank” quickly.

Trump is not going to reduce the debt. Both parties since before Reagan have done nothing.
We need a hat that says "Make America solvent again".
I just don't think MASA is something I'm going to wear. :p

No, Bernie does not scare me. I think most Americans don't care for his vision for America. Plus, I'm thinking that the dnc will put him in his place, again.

With Hillary out of the way, I don't think they have a choice. It's sink or swim time for the DNC.

Honestly I didn’t. I didn’t think you were that politically that far left/socialist but I guess this is why Sanders is the front runner.

I’m not. His campaign agenda will never happen, much like the current president. He‘ll make some changes for sure.

That‘s not even close to happening now. What makes you think for more years of the same will change anything.

Move to Cuba or Venezuela or Russia. If you want it, move. Trump will go down as one of the top 3 presidents ever. 4 more years!

No thanks. Still need to fix what’s broken here.

Bernie is just one sick man. It’s all the people that support him that are scary.

Counterpoint:

There are literally hundreds of posts on this forum where the "Republicans" have said they didn't vote for Trump they voted against the system/party/ststus-quo/swamp/etc. and TRUMP was the only way things would ever change... We are three years into that experiment and the current status of Trumps administration speaks volumes. Not going to debate what that means here.

Bernie is not some radical leftist. When compared to every other industrialized nation his positions represent a moderate center position. If you disagree with that go ahead and list a single policy position that Bernie supports that is not already in place in: Canada/Germany/France/Finland/Belguim/Sweden/Norway/Japan/etc/etc.

The only thing radical here is that somehow the right is convinced Americans are too stupid to successfully implement changes that improve the baseline standard of living.

Sanders going to rot in South Carolina.Trump will handle Biden in the General Election. Losers will keep picking losers.

“Joe Biden has a massive lead over Bernie Sanders and the rest of the Democratic presidential hopefuls in South Carolina, according to a Monmouth University poll published Thursday.”

The poll, released two days before the crucial first-in-the-South primary, shows Biden with an advantage of 20 percentage points over Sanders, 36 percent to 16 percent.”

I would love an intelligent response out of you just once. Maybe I give you too much credit on an intellectual basis...

I have traveled in and worked with the people in the listed countries and many many others. Have close friends and family in many of them as well. I can assure you that their quality of life is minimally on par with ours and for many many people well exceeds it. As an educated professional I can lead a high quality of life in any industrialized nation. The differences from country to country would be akin to noise. Thats my household, two professionals with W2 income in the 99th percentile. The same can not be said of the households in the 50th percentile. Those are the Americans that need the changes that Sanders is talking about. Those are also the people who would have a hard time moving to another country.

It's all about March 3rd Sweep and if the DNC doesn't cook the books, Bernie crushes.

The beauty is the MSM will start to lay into Bernie as a Socialist after Biden's win Saturday in a last ditch effort to take it from him and his moronic followers..............................................and the Libturd Civil just keeps getting better!!! 🤣

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows that 52% of Likely U.S. Voters approve of President Trump’s job performance.

What you are failing to point out is that 20 percentage point lead is down from the 38% point lead he had before Iowa...

There's one difference for the most part from those countries and ours, the ability to succeed based on the individual's efforts and the sky is the limit.

As I said Mr. Bleeding Heart, pack your family and the rest of your worthless Socialist friends............................Utopia is just a move away!!!!

Oh I forgot, there's one other big difference I love about this nation..............................

Bernie's views on Cuba scare me. I've been to Cuba, my brother lived there. Majority of the Cubans live in poverty. 20 something young girls will fuck a dirty old man for a bite of a pork sandwich. They take a bite and take the rest to share with their family.

Canada has poverty even with a raise in min wage to almost $15 per hour. The price of goods and services just raised the prices. Our healthcare is a joke, old people in over crowded hospitals, put in broom closets to die.

And many of those households in the 50th percentile voted red, and will again. You can lead a horse to water...;)

I don't exactly hold Cuba up as an industrialized nation... Given Trumps geography problems socioeconomics is probably a stretch as well.

Your healtcare is better than ours, at least your old people make it to the hospital.

Yet the lefties here will preach on and on about how good it is there. Maybe the USA just hasn't tried those ideas the right way yet... 🤔😏

30 Million Canadians live within 100 miles of the US border... Yet it is for all intents and purposes unguarded. If things are so terrible in that socialist/communist shit-hole you would think we would need fences and guns to keep them damm Hockey Loving Timbit munching Cunucks out of the promised land.

Nothing I say is intelligent..................................duuuuuuuuuuh!!!! 😆
(Fixed it...)
Oh BTW, since you'd like to brag about how superior your income is, would you like to wager that this dumb dumb makes more than both of you?

I don't feel the need to brag about income or compare it for comparisons sake. Income is rarely the best indicator of wealth, and wealth is never an indicator of happiness. Simply use that 99% number to set the perspective.

(I would be surprised if your guaranteed income to fixed expenses ratio would compare to our household, but thats not something people who brag are usually good at optimizing now is it...)
