I picked up a new enclosed trailer today. I happened to find a deal on one that wasn’t advertised yet. It is a 2015, and the guy only used it like 5 or 6 times. It was set up as a camping trailer, which is useful for some of the racing stuff I do, and trips off-roading with the family. It checked a lot of the boxes for the “nice to haves” that I would have added to a basic enclosed box. It has hookups for shore power, an inverter setup, a solar charger, outside awning, a small fume hood inside for cooking, folding workbench, storage, and a folding sofa/bed. I don’t know why the bed is is on the left side though, I’m going to have to move it to the other side.

It needs tires, a wash, and a couple small items.

Pretty sweet setup. I like that its finished inside and the floor looks nice.

Why move the bed?

I don’t think I will be able to get out of my car with the bed there, unless I back in. I’ll have to try it to see in a couple days.

I think this will work out bitchen for trips like Alamo Lake.

Will it fit your Speed UTV?

Yes. I should be able to fit the Speed 4 seater, and a couple kid quads across the front with a foot or so to spare. Speed UTV is 13’6”, trailer is 18’.

Eventually 2 larger quads won’t fit I don’t think. I’ll have to put one in the truck bed.

I think the bed is on that side for a couple reasons,
its center of the fender and when you walk in and out you have to walk around it , no cutting the corner you have to square off to get out and in
as your sitting down you can look out the open door ,
every enclosed trailer I’ve modified, I always set the bed/couch up that way , just my 2 cents

I’m with you, the current layout makes sense. I just have to make sure it is useable. I can’t climb over to the passenger side in my race car, so if so can’t get out I’m backing it in or moving the bed.

Backing in will mess your weight balance up probably. I tried that one time. Never again lol.

The race car is 50.3/49.7 weight distribution front to rear, so that won’t matter. The SXS isn’t though.

Congrats! You'll learn to love it!

We used one of these in our enclosed for years before we got the toy hauler! They work great, pack up tight for storage! Definitely worth it imo!
