Has anyone had any experience with the Hill Marine Signature SL 4 blade props? I am needing to get a 24p for the Force, and these keep popping up. At about $200 less than a Bravo 1, is it worth the savings?

I have a brand new 26p i bought from
MMW a few weeks ago. Seems it has more cup than the bravo but seems sluggish in comparison. Plus a little slower on top end.
You have that Force right? If you have a small shaft and come out to Needles ever my go to is my Hydromotive 25p Intimidator, you’re welcome to try it out and see what you think, but it’s not for sale lol.

Not with that prop, but I stopped in their shop last week to drop off a custom prop Ron built for me years ago, later tuned by Bronson. Chad spent quite a bit of time chatting with me and looking over a few other props I brought to compare and get his input. Very helpful to talk with him. At worst, they have been around a long time and will take the time to help you get it dialed in if need be.

My biggest thing is that I don’t want to have to “play with props” to get it right. I know the Bravo 1 will be right out of the box, they just are. But I am open to options.

Do your homework with Hill......Had Ron do work for me when his shop was in his garage (maybe 1979) and was the go to guy. Around 5 years ago had a kinda rare OMC SRX prop I ran on a Merc 280 drag and needed a tune up due to very small nicks (could have filed myself)....Got the prop back could see a visual difference between the blades where material was removed on leading edge. Also had hand polished finish and returned with a crappy tumbler finish. Lost 5 miles an hour compared to where speed was upon delivery to Hill and paid a couple hundred dollars.
Maybe someone was having a bad day.......I'm just saying.
