I am looking into putting some larger trim tabs on the 22 footer. Looks like they will be placed in a different spot than the current small tabs and I may have to move the swim step. Anybody know someone in Havasu that can fill the holes so they look nice and are structurally sound and are leak and expansion proof?
thx

Sucks how your deal went, it truly does i cannot deny myself. However, it’s no excuse however i will say on my last boat Pedro did a ton of little jobs as well a couple fairly bigger ones and everyone of them came out amazing, couldn’t have asked for better, except once. And that one i didn’t notice he did, and told me to bring back after the season and he’d fix it. He actually called me and said “I’m slow this week can you get your boat here?” And i did and he repaired something no one would’ve ever seen.

I don't know about bad work or anything like that, all I know is he (Pedro) did a great job for me on our boat. Here are a couple before and after shots!

Judge for yourself mystory is posted with photo evidence.

I even refrained from documenting on here the other stuff he fucked up. Plus I've had three other people contact me about him pulling the "oh we screwed up and your quote is double what we originally quoted" after the boat is dropped and you can see how his "keel" repair left his shop as the job completed.

The only thing I can gather is if your not a local or in the clique you get the 3 card monty act/ bent over?

I was surprised too just not in a good way.

I went over everything at drop off, I even brought blankets and we laid under the boat to inspect everything prior to drop off. Then I ate the first doubeling of a section of the estimate and actually ate a second increase and then when he said it was ready I got there and I saw only a section of the keel was done and the rest was touch up painted (as you can see) and that they totally screwed up another part of the job (I didn't evidence it here) I brought it up and he gave me the ever shrinking definition of a "keel" story. As we went back and forth, I could see this wasn't going anywhere so shut up, paid and left an unhappy customer. I gave him a chance to work it out or make it right but he didn't want to.

Now I'm stuck having to pay someone else to fix some of his work and finish the work he didn't do that we agreed on.

At no point was I unclear on what I wanted done. I tried to work it out with him and this is how he chose to do business and others from out of town have relayed similar experiences to me. So I think it's fair others considering taking their stuff to him should know what they might be in for.
