We’re throwing down some Smoked Fatties today.

One is sweet onion, orange bell pepper, garlic and cheddar.
The other is sweet onion, portobello, garlic and havarti.

I made a Fattie press with PVC, l sautéed the veggies, combined them with the cheese, and stuffed into the tubes, then chilled them. I mixed Jimmy Dean and ground beef for the roll and basket weaved some Bacon. And on to the smoker until 165*

More pics to come.

"Cardiff Crack" as its called from seaside market in Cardiff. Burgundy pepper tri tip tumbled inside a drum for 2 days. Cut it with a fork! Its yummy with any cocktail of choice.

Did some chuck roast yesterday on the pellet grill for shredded tacos and bbq sliders. Might do some good ole burgers on the propane grill later. My son is on the propane griddle right now doing some bacon for a late breakfast...lol

Did some veggies for my famous pasta salad. Doing BBQ ribs in the oven then sauce and finish them off on the BBQ. I did a couple racks in the Traeger last week per the recipe, but they were undercooked and had to put them back on twice to get the juices to run clear. The family was kinda ho-hum and said they preferred the oven method wrapped in foil where the meat falls off and the bone instead of working for it.

Doing the 3-2-1 method right now on some Costco ribs. Just finished wrapping them and back in for 2 hours. I’ve tried these ribs before without the 3-2-1 method on Traeger and didn’t have luck either. Hopefully these turn out as good as the last time using this method.

Trying out for the first time a Traeger that a neighbour gave me that didn't work :(
Turns out the Auger was solid with old pellets that seized up, a quick cleaning and 3-1/2 hrs in, it's working fine. ;)
BBB Ribs with McCormick "Bayou Cajun Seasoning" spritzed with Apple Cider/Crown Royal :D

Tri Tip on the Weber Summit

Smoked it for half hour
Then moved it on top of the coals for a perfect reverse sear

How do you like the Weber Summit? I've been kicking around getting one. It looks like a solid product.

Pm me your number i will go into more detail

Short version
Love it.
Since I bought it, I have sold a weber ranch 36”, 22” smoky mountain, and a 22 weber grill

You can smoke at 185, or sear on it at 650 plus,, must be the most versatile grill ever mass produced

But thats my opinion

I have Weber gas and a 22.5" Smokey Mnt. that I really love. But I've wanted a Big Green Egg for a long time, it looks like Weber one upped them with this grill.

In my opinion,
Weber Summit smokes all the ceramics...

I love mine so much, I took it on a 2week camping vacation
Made bisquits, pizzas, cinnamon rools, pulled pork, literally used it every day...

I will post some pics

Its very efficient on charcoal... i might have used 20 -25 lbs over 2 weeks...
Holds temps,

It has a ash catch, which makes cleaning stupid simple... do that with a ceramic...

I am not joking, I sold 3 webers after I bought this... Got it used on Craigslist,, slightly used and 50% of new price

Got home from the river late...ordered pizza. Ate entirely too fast for pictures.

Good stuff!
