RD does not get discounts, he trades marketing exposure on RDP for work. Just like every business owner that I know.
Either way his prices are different than what mine would be. That was the point.

So in a bit of bad news.. Pedro said he can't get the yellow out. He tried some areas and no dice.
So following up on the yellow, Pedro tried to wet sand some of it and basically said he can't get it out and we will regel those areas later. The swim step gel is pretty burned up and we will regel that as well later.
The rest of the boat is coming out tits

You still didn't tell me who makes the drain plugs. Is it a secret?

What is pardo exactly doing to bring out the current gel?
As to the yellowing white. It's sort of a period problem. The late 90s early 2000s is when the gel mfgs were tinkering with formulas to meet AQMD standards.
It should sand out, but expect it to come back in a year or two. Maybe three knowing you garage your stuff and keep it waxed well.
The question is, how many times has it already been done?
I think you see where I'm going with that.

I considered pulling this pic and starting a thread in the gel section.
I guess you can move it there if you want?
The haze we see in the corner below the rail is where a repair has been done in the past. From the looks of it many years ago.
This is why in the past I have said I'd never advise someone to order a new boat with a front/rear cap job.
That cap is a repair. It will be he first place the boat starts showing its age.
Doesn't matter what you do, how puss you keep it, wax it every day if you like, eventually it will look like that.
I tell people that, and some don't care. "It looks cool" and fuck it, they won't own it when it starts looking like that. It'll be some else's problem.

Not the cap job. The transition between cap job gel and original out of the mold gel.Not trying to hijack in the least but why does the cap job make it show age ?
You say you had the top "re-sprayed". Are you talking about all the colors, or did he just spray new clear?
Boat looks great BTW!!
