is that the M12 polisher? How do you like it? Does it work good?

It works great for my wheels. I bought a pack of polishing pads from amazon for it. I used it to polish the plastic trim on my wife’s car. It’s good for small jobs but for anything big I’ll always prefer using my DA.

I love my M12 stuff. The cut-off tool is legit btw. I've never used a tool that can cut sheet metal as quickly, short of a sheer or plasma. And it's really cool how the rotation can be reversed to throw the sparks/dust whichever direction you need them to go.

Oh, and their stubby impacts. Gets lug nuts off no problem that were put on with a pneumatic impact at a shop.

With everything going rechargeable like Lawn Mowers and edger's and tools, batteries will be like ink cartridges with printers. They still got ya, then,,, they don't make that battery anymore.

Its not easy to find... like go to this link:

you'll see under the price on the right hand side "free gift with purchase" and you can pick a free "tool only" option.

here another one

here a big combo kit in m12

m18 impact with battery, and a m12 ratchet with battery, and charger

you just gotta scour the internet deals sites. theres also some people u can follow on tiktok that post what the best deals of the day are, they also have stuff from walmart, sams, costco, lowes, etc.

I have a robust collection of Milwaukee tools.
I have the Big Chainsaw... I will never use a gas powered chainsaw again, after it.

The instant torque of the M18 Chainsaw... kicks some serious ass. I highly recommend it for home owner type of work. I am not sayings its good for commercial operations, but a typically home owner or ranch... fuck yeah. Gets the job done.

Is it a hassle having two different batteries depending on the tool you use? I wanted to order the other day but someone said its a pain having different batteries.

I got the M12 5 piece last night to keep at the mountain place... 199 can't beat that...I need to start investing in M18's for primary and then my current M12's will go the river...

I went after the M-18 Battery Kit and added the router. I'm tempted to go after the sander.

$219 with tax shipped to my house. I'm a contractor so any reason to avoid the HD special bus desk is good with me.

I am looking at this. Thinking the $199 package, and add the impact driver. Only I'm not sure I want the surge impact driver offered. I would prefer to have more power over it being quieter and a little smoother.

Hurry up they’re selling out quick. I went back and grabbed this. $114 for two m18 batteries, charger, and a leaf blower. There’s weird combos between tools that make the discounts stack up.

I tried the Milwhaukee brand tools. I think I just had bad luck with a few that needed repair right after purchase. Went with all newer Dewalt.. I still wish I had the Milwhaukee color, love the red and black.

Ryobi has never changed their batteries since they came out with the 18 volt system almost 20 years ago. Batteries are interchangeable with any 18 volt tool they have ever made.

Milwaukee hasn't changed their battery tech in an extremely long time and I don't think they will. They saw how many users Dewalt lost when they pulled that. I don't see platform changes anytime soon, just updates to the existing ones that will still be interchangeable.

What do you mean? Like a 2.0 M12 battery and a 6.0 M12? If so, not at all. Benefits from having both due to physical size and all that.

I need a Milwaukee torque driver that can do lug nuts and more. Problem is they have too many options and I can’t tell how much toque or what model I need. What are you using - which one is the go-to tool?

I've had this one for a few years, and it's a beast. The key thing for Milwaukee stuff is to get the FUEL version, even though they are more expensive.

When you put them in the cart online that’s what the price was reduced to .

I just did a rebuild on one of my M18 impacts. The switch was shot and I noticed it wasn’t driving as hard as it used to. I got a full rebuild for $58 from ereplacementparts.com (Switch, brushes, electronics). Found it all on YouTube university. Brand new now.

Now- what’s the deal with $114 tool deal? All I’m seeing is $199 also. Still a good deal but……

I’ll try to explain it. When you add the 2 pack battery plus charger to your cart it will get reduced down to let’s say 114.00 and then when you pick your free tool it will add back to the original cost. So basically your just paying for the the 199.00 plus tax. So I got the battery packs and charger and leaf blower for 215.00 dollars. Considering what they want for just the 2 pack batteries alone, it’s quite the deal.

Hope this helps.

Looks like new math. It's still $199 plus tax. Both my items were reduced to $99 each. I'm not sure I want to move to the M18. The M 12 series hasn't let me down. I do have many dewalt 18/29 v tools. When I go from the m12 to the 20v I usually end up driving the screw through the wood.

Took my receipt from my 2 18v batteries back and got that blower. Holy shit I pissed off the girlfriend. I blew that sob in the house and it was like a dust storm lol, then asked her if she ever cleans. It didn’t go well!

My leaf blower died this summer. Just went down to HD to get this deal to replace my broken one. The leaf blower (tool only) is $170 so this deal for $114 is great. I don't need the extra batteries (already have 8 m18 batteries) but its cheaper to buy with the batteries than tool only. Took the leaf blower to the counter with the batteries and it rang up over $200. Spoke with a manager to try and get the discount. Still no dice. Walked out empty handed. Might try a different HD to see if I can still get the discount.

So some people are asking how I got that price. I've joined a "black friday discord" server where people post up ads and codes for getting extreme discounts... but you have to move FAST. Basically the way it was explained was when you take the battery m18 starter kit, and you chose the leaf blower, and had them ring it up as a specific SKU that the price was modified by a percentage... rather than just price setting each item. So thats why the price was so cheap. When I go back to try and find that link, its no longer there. So perhaps an error on their part. Either way even for the $199 its still a pretty good deal, the batteries themselves are like $80 a pop and the tools are all 150+.
