Came across this thing brought it home planning to use it and now I don’t see getting a riverhouse in the forseable future. Tested it out hooked up to the hose in the garage and it works great. Makes 50lbs a day. Fits under a countertop. Retail new for 1900 seen em used for 800-1200. I’ll take 700 obo. Need it out of the garage. 7147423275.

It’s defiantly on the heavy side. I’m guessing 70ish lbs. where you need it shipped to?

78333. Alice Tx. I have used Shipping guy on here before. But it would require you to put it on a pallet or some kind of shipping packaging. May be easier for you to just sell it.

Yeah. The under counter model I had was 2k without the pump.

Does that unit have a pump?

No pump built in but you can add one. It's simple.

Mine has a pump to pump any water out of the catch box, I guess it could also gravity drain out. It depends on your set up

Keep in mind IF your going to use it in Havasu, the water is so hot during summer it takes a while to make a batch of ice. You need a good drain and a water line with a filter, 110 outlet. I ran a pre chiller to cool down the water before the ice maker. I make ice every trip and bag it and stick it in the freezer. Someone said Smart and Final sells ice bags and twist ties for the top and that is what I use. I have like 80lbs of ice in the freezer now, amazing how fast you go thru ice!

Mine will fill the bin overnight even in the summer. Living here full time I run it about once a month and bag the ice in a chest freezer.

One thing you can do, if you had a garage fridge is run a coiled copper line into the fridge to cool the water. Drill a hole in the side. Run a coil of copper in and back out to ice maker.

I plumbed a drain in the garage. The bin isn’t cooled or you have a frozen block of ice. So it’s constantly melting if that makes sense. In the house you typically need a pump to pump up to a drain in the wall. You tap in a pee trap like one with a dishwasher inlet. You have to pump up to level obviously.
