I didn't realize gas pumps "shoot" that far, I must always get the slow one, take forever to fill up.
Can you imagine what these a-holes and the van must smell like, 1 little spark and they are vaporized, to bad their crack pipe wasn't still smoldering in the ash tray.

Years ago, driving thru LA area, I had two guys, pull up, and tried to convince me, that I was going to pay for there gas, while I was filling my tank...
I convinced them that wasnt going to happen, by squirting gas at them...

Since then, I keep a knife in my pocket, and one in my car door at all times.

That's been my plan for years. My keys never stay in the ignition at the pump, and my hand is always on the nozzle. Getting in won't help them, and they're getting the nozzle as I hit the red panic button on my keys in the pocket. Don't forget, in CA, you have to keep pulling back on the corrugated vapor guard to keep it flowing.
