Check not only location, but also that there’s nothing behind the area to be cut. Then, I’d use an air saw and cut it right out.

At first I was the same way but now that I have cut so many holes in expensive boats that it is no big deal at this point....lol

might want to mark a vertical or horizontal line on both of them, that way you have something to reference for straighty when you screw in the speakers

Me too. Drilling big holes on new cars roofs for antenna's is always fun too I do both everyday

I'm thankful I double checked on our Nordic. I was going to put a sub in the cooler location in the mid cuddy. Had the saw ready and realized if I woulda cut the hole I could have seen outside the boat. After that I had someone do the install.
