I-15 super heavy snow, might not get back to Vegas today..

Drove back home in havasu from Torrance this morning. Went 10 to Blythe and up Poston road. Poured rain solid from Norwalk to just short of Blythe. Definitely a longer drive but no snow and i am home in front of the fire!

Check this out, even 95 through Searchlight is red in and off to Goffs Road. This is the mess on I-15. Milton road closed at 95 so no one can get stuck at Hallaron Pass.

Im headed to Barstow to do some camping and riding also. Hitting road by 5am. From the sounds of it, im getting worried. Lol

Drove from Sac to OC today to visit the mouse. Decided to take 101 all the way since 5 was closed all day at the grapevine. 13 hour later we made it. What a shit show. It should've taken 8 hours at the most. Hit a solid wall of traffic in Santa Barbara. Took 3 hours just to get through there

That sucks and we were thinking of heading to Solvang today or tomorrow. Hopefully the snow stops in the Grapevine and we can go to Solvang without any traffic issues due to the 5 closure.

nah, RD's blizzard is actually closer to 4 weeks late. The freeways were a mess at Thanksgiving with snow, while mods were still on summer vacays.

Nashville Christmas weather was in lower 70's. 73 at Lake Barkley Green Turtle Marina KY.

My inlays headed back to PHX via the 8 yesterday - they laft about 10 am. Called at 5:30 and my answers and says, boy you made good time.

They said we are in Indio ! It was closed and they had to double back and up the 15...

Haven't heard from them yet today - I hope they made it home!

I left BHC yesterday (Thursday) about 3pm
Rain all the way to Barstow, pretty tough run....well had no idea after the outlets it snowing....it was fun at first, then its like fuck...anyway cut through pear blossom...20 to 40 mph at night...hardest driving ever in Cal...got to Simi at 7 30 Cal time....lucky to make it...never thought it can get so bad...I always took it for granted....crazy

quite the journey I'm sure... (my son and daughter in law with their 100lb boxer pup, from OC to Nashville, 4am Friday (thru the cajon pass, was the easy part) to just getting there an hour ago (29 hour drive thru rain, sleet, ping pong ball sized hail, snow and ice). Today will be the start of "all things new" for them, should see some warm 70* sunshine today before more rain hits them.
