My neighbor had one. Bottom end gerneded at about 75k. Too bad. Because they really would be a great fit for the half ton market.

33 gallon tank is an option. mine has the 26 1/2 gallon tank. I just hit 1000 miles and the odometer and around Las Vegas combined driving on averaging around 27. It gets in the low 30s on the highway it’s 2 WD, it is absolute been flawless.

diesel is $2.19.

Have they sorted these motors out? After reading on here and talking to others. Seems the early models had issues. no idea on the newer ones. My neighbor had , I believe, the first year.

This is the fourth or fifth generation, and I think it’s all worked out I’ll do a towing report in a few weeks.

I’m considering bringing one of my cars from Las Vegas on my flatbed back down to Huntington Beach.

I'm on eco diesel #2. First one was a 2015 2nd one is 2018. Both have been Dam good trucks. I would have keep the 2015 for a lot longer but I needed some tax write-offs so I traded it for the 18.

The Diesel is definitely not necessary for the most part, the better is millage is awesome but in CA it rare for the fuel to be the same or cheaper than gas. I got great deals on both and paid the same or less than a comparable 5.7 so it made sense for me.

Only draw back is it's slowwww lol.

I can go about 250 miles with a full tank (18gl) in my V if I keep the boost down. 😁

Does anyone really buy a vehicle they want with gas mileage a concern?
Then go out on their boat or rv or plane?
The tree huggers would have a fit on the fossil fuel I burn lol

I got an econo box. '96 CC F350. +/- 20 mpg. Towing 12K+, 13 mpg. Best ever, 24 mpg.
Went from a C30 3+3, 454, at 9 mpg. Towing, 6 mpg. (Same 12K+)

A 1000 miles is a Wednesday for me.

$2600 Truck, now has 597K miles. Yes, a 7.3.

It's all smiles and high fives, so long as the warranty is intact. That's not a truck to own out of warranty, then again - none of the new diesels are. Awesome power, awesome MPG, comlicated as shit and saddled with more sensors than a liberals clit

True. Hard to own a new diesel without a warranty, motor or tranny go out, you are looking at one hell of a bill to replace. Honestly, as much as these and most of the new trucks hold the value I can see paying for the extended if you plan on owning it for a while.
