That goes both ways. One of my staff saw me move and decided she wanted to move to TN. She had some family there. I think she lasted all of 2 months before she canceled her home build and scheduled the movers. She probably lost ~$20-$30k on moves and her earnest money. Maybe more. I’m SOOOOO over the May grey and June gloom. Haven’t seen the sun for an extended period on the beach since November!!

Sister and mon both live in Huntington Beach.... They have both mentioned how bad the weather has been this year. Very little sun it seems.
I’ve lived in the beach in so cal my whole life. The saying “may grey and June gloom” is a real thing but it comes in waves. I’ve seen summers fogged in for the whole season and I’ve seen spring through November with most days sunny in the high 70’s basically all year. Weather is weather. It changes and is different around these parts. A lot of people like the over cast. I’m like you, I like the sun. Usually you can go inland just a couple miles and find the sun but this stuff this year is socked waaaaay inland. All the way through the valley and simi etc.
