I suppose it’s time to start getting the boat ready for this weekend.

I was gonna start Tuesday, but it was hot. Yesterday was hot too. Gotta get to matrons stadium tomorrow, so it better happen now.

I have a cold 12 pack and it’s cooled down outside…

Outboards are hard to turn with the engine jacked up….need power steering. Bungee from the lower to a stern eye…

Milled up some aluminum because nothing pisses me off more than washers that only touch on one side…

Dunno what’s next…I’m not going in order

I need to put a stern eye…can’t find my epoxy thickener…pretty sure I gave it to the guy that bought my house a year ago to work on his boat. Called him, he said go over…it’s in the garage, you know the code.

Trim guage…chopped up an otherwise good chunk of aluminum and clamped it to the front steer tube…

I found an old shifter cable and made a chingas to clamp the housing to the ski pylon mount.

Good enough…The other end of the cable goes up and dow on the dash…I’ll put some tape and draw some lines.
