Naw, I have really cool neighbors.Does your neighbor trip out?
Yeah the pistels have started to turn brown and once they start to subside back to the bud I’m taking em out. I have tried the look at the trichromes method but just stick with my gut feeling.looking good, what strain? i've got this one oddball plant in my crop this year thats growing with these pinkish hairs.you look View attachment 683466 a little further along, but stiil have a bit to go
Yes I do and trying that route this yeardo you something like a jewlers loop to check out the trichomes with. They will tell you when its time
No question is a stupid question.Ok, stupid question here, from a coors light head. Does the plant keep growing after you clip the buds off like an apple tree after the you pull the apples off? Or does it totally die and you plant a new plant?

yes, just like this and trimming buds is a tedious task.A couple years ago I trimmed up almost 15 lbs,I thought I would never get doneNo question is a stupid question.
No bud picking here as it is a one shot deal. When the plants are ready I cut the steam at the base and then clip each branch and trim the leaves on each bud. I then hang all the branches from my homemade clothesline in a dark room to let them dry. You don't want to let them dry out completely but just to the stag to where they are kinda crunchy on the outside when you squeeze them with your fingers. I then clip each bud from the branches and place them in mason jars to cure. Curing takes about 4-6 weeks and is a process of maintaining the humidity levels in the jars by opening each one to breath and I also place these 62% humidity packs in each jar. I do it mostly as a hobby and give most of my crop to family and friends to enjoy.
Nice buds...
I can't legally do that here in WNY. It is still a felony to grow.
How do you know when it's time to cut the buds off of the plant?
I think most are growing inside in tents, hydroponically.Anybody germinated/planted yet?
Thinking of getting some going in the next week or two.
Yeah I'm to old school for those modern techniques.I think most are growing inside in tents, hydroponically.
I would be up for growing, if I could find a place to extract it, and make gummies and brownies, then package it.
I bet you like the ink residue on your fingers too. LOL.Yeah I'm to old school for those modern techniques.
Kinda like reading the Sunday times...I like to feel the pages in my fingers...
I don't smoke or use it but I think it is the most amazing smell on the planet. Smells like fresh baked cookies to me. I do think it is cool that you guys grow your own, In a legal area why would anyone buy it ?I don't know how any of you smoke that crap, smells like shit or a skunk
Way back I did the exact thing, I dont smoke but wanted to try my hand at it. It was pretty easy to be honest. I had 3 plants close to 8 feet tall,. Friends loved it. Must of had a pound by time all said and done. I just used info online. It is a weed. And its fairly hearty. I dunno. Never got into the smoking part of it.I don't smoke , but I've always wanted to try and grow a plant or 2 . . . . but it seems like such a pain in the ass, and unless you're a weed-dork, it seems like a waste of time 7 you'll end up with bogus weed.

Someone bought me one of those home brew kits for christmas one year....6 weeks or whatever to make 6 (big) bottles of beer. Fuck that. I like drinking beer, not making beer.Have you ever tried brewing your own beer, wine or shine? Its more like a hobby and while there are some potential savings, the cost and time is a labor of love. Its a lot harder than it looks. I have never succeeded beyond a really fun conversation piece in my indoor atrium.
