But I really need to vent. About 6 months ago I lost my silver lab Mya at 14 years old. Last Monday we lost our other baby. Her name was Miss Puggles. She was part Pug and part Beagle. Lol. It’s been a brutal week without our four legged family. Miss Puggles had bonded with her mom (my wife) on day one but every night she slept at my side. I’m still not sure if it to keep me away from momma or an alpha thing lol. She was 13 years old and had gotten a cancerous tumor that we had removed near her right front leg. The vet said she had never seen anything like it and it would come back. It could be 2 months or maybe 4. After it was removed she was like a pup again as could run and play. About two weeks ago we felt it coming back and boy did it ever. In that amount of time it went from the size of a grape to the size of a plum. She became very despondent and last Sunday night we knew she was ready to go be with her sister Mya. Monday morning we took her to the vet and she peacefully went to be with Mya. Sorry for the long rant but I got to our Havasu house and finally realized the steps we had for the pups to get onto the bed wouldn’t be needed anymore. RIP Mya and Miss Puggles. Thank you RDP because I know so many love their pups!!

It's really tough losing two pets in a short time period. I'm sorry to hear about that.

In 2018 we lost both of our orange tabby cats just four months apart. It was brutal. We just got a new orange kitten just four months ago. It took a long time to heal after the loss.

Sorry for your loss. When the time is right, start building another four legged family.

So sorry for your loss. Seems like our pets are an ever increasing integral part of our families. When i was a child the dog was just something that seemed to be around; he came and went as he wished and I never remember my parents taking him to a vet.
Today my standard poodle, currently 11 years old, accompanies me most everywhere I go and has since he was 3 months old. My turn in that barrel is rapidly approaching and at times I honestly hope I go before he does, it just sucks thinking about losing him. Again so sorry for your loss.
