If you know, ya know. This car is tits. I'd take a hot rod like this over a Singer every day and twice on Sunday. I'm not sure where this bid will end up. If it was white, I wish I were a bidder, I'd have to let go of my current two Pcars and liquidate some R/E.

I've owned it since 1995 and finished the restoration in 2014.
Nobody drives their Singers......one million $ would freak anyone out.

I have a friend who has a Singer. Just took delivery from Singer this summer. About 1,500 miles on it so far. He plans to keep it. Another friend of ours gets his late fall and plans to run it hard. I don’t know, they’re not for me. Super nice, over the top nice. I guess I prefer the “hot rod” style.

That’s a great looking long hood!

I'm a hot rodder myself that's why I did my resto as a rally car. Picture was at an "Early911S" registry event in Malibu Cyn. I posted some interior photos.
You must hang around with some wealthy MF's

My first 911 was identical to that. White is my jam
I have no interest in Porsches that are not white LOL

This one may be going up for sale at some point in the near future, looking to reshuffle the deck a bit.

I aspire to be an air cooled guy, for now I’m just a broke dick with a sanitary 996. View attachment 1421670

Same boat. Just had mine gone through mechanically and re-sprayed. Say all you want about an inexpensive 996 but, with 300 HP, a 6 speed tranny and a weight of less than 3,000 lbs., it’s a lot of fun.

a 1949-1989 torsion bar air-cooled is a Porsche.

NOT a 918, 919, 924, 928, 931, 932, 937, 938, 939, 944, 951, 964, 968, 965, 970, 971, 980, 981, 982, 986, 987, 991, 992, 993, 996, 997, etc.

Last week I had the pleasure of blasting around monterey car week on this 912, it’s a 35,000 mile survivor car that is pristine. Prior to our adventure up there I had not seen it outside the shop, and I had no idea that it was bright fucking orange, in the sunlight this bitch lit up like a Christmas tree and I immediately understood why this is going to be the new record priced 912 when it goes.

The smell, the sound, everything is so visceral, when you get to play in these cars. The dim headlights, the sound of 4500 rpm at each shift. It’s not fast but OMG is it authentic. Air cooled P cars are awesome.

Amazing cars that some of you guys have.

If anyone needs a recaro child’s car seat that fits in the back of a 911, hit me up I have one sitting on the shelf in my warehouse.

Friend of mine has a Porsche 904 Carrera GT by Thunder Ranch. We've started the project years ago, it is stalled a bit since I've left Vancouver 7 yrs ago. Got a dual plug 6 cyl engine for it. Another friend of hours do the body work. As projects go, this one is a long proccess since my freind has a 58 Austin Healy historic racer he had for a long time, and needs constant maintenance, lol.
Anyway, here are few pictures of the cars. Noble M400 up on the lift, Healy up front and the Carrera GT front of it.

My pops used to let me take his 930 out with friends in high school, and damn that was fun. Only rule he gave me was no drinking. ha ha. For now my 991 does the job.

Here's my '79 911SC converted to '86 Slantnose Turbo look with brake ducts and boxed rockers
put an '86 Carrera 3.2 in it

And my 2001 Twin Turbo. I know the "purists" don't like it, but that car was fun and badassfast in the early 2000s
Was nice to have a defroster that worked too 😁

My 67 Camaro in the garage was a temporary laundry rack

I dated a girl in my early 20's whose Dad owned 3 bars and they lived in a huge lake house. First time I met him I was on my Ninja and he walks out and says you will not take my daughter anywhere on that murder bike. She was headstrong and a heart breaker I quickly learned, her Dad knew she would jump on my bike just to spite him.
He says take my Porsche but don't wreck it, I was casual friends with her brother and the Dad knew of me, I pulled off an Eddie Haskell. 🤪
1985 black turbo, learning to drive that car was an eye opener but once I started getting the hang of it that car was a blast.

I'd love a 911, but have to believe I'd rather a Macan and Boxster pair.

Am I wrong?

My 2016 Porsche 911 Carrera 2. Yes the air cooled cars are super cool but the entire evaluation alone of the 911 line is incredible from older to newer tech. Sad to think the next few years might be the last of the gas powered 911’s. Nothing like the sound of a naturally aspirated flat-6 at high RPM’s. 😁

Adding a few more, my friend Gregory's cars. Took these shots at Laguna Seca. He has a stacker trailer with 4 P cars loaded when the historic races are on.
The 904 is a four cylinder model . 356 coupe , 550 Spyder, and a Devon Porsche. His garage is massive with floor heating. He lives on an Island close to Nanaimo, waterfront with killer views of the ocean. Greg lives in paradise, garage is bigger than the house

I was looking for a turbo Porsche but decided on the S63 for family. After I sent the money for the S63 to my buddy he sends me this pic back and says, I can send this out instead. Same price.

I’m like mother fucker!!

😂😂

I’ll get a Porsche next after kids are grown a little more.

Edit, im pretty sure it was a 68 not a 65. My bad. I said 65 but I was thinking about it and Im positive it was a 68.

68 912. This photo is circa 1993 or so and I was around 19 at the time. Bought this from my boss' dad for around 4k. Ran ok but needing a lot of work. I worked on it non-stop my first year in Jr College (that I barely attended haha). It was my only car so I rode my bike most of the time between it running or not while I worked on it.

I had a friend help me paint it and I pulled the engine and went through it; finally ran well enough that I took it on a 1000 mile road trip! Best part was thr paint as it looked like black glass. I spent weeks color sanding and buffing it. Quit college almost a year later, sold it and went to the Army.

That’s cool! I wish in would have known Porsche was in that price range at that time. I was 16 in ‘99 and got SS Camaro. I just assumed Porsches were way outside of the budget. I still have my ‘99 SS. I could have built a really cool 911 for what we had in the SS.
