This is why:
I bet they use a square and a tape measure when they build tuff shedsI always used to describe my trailers as a tuff shed on a flat bed built by a meth head, what could go wrong
The methods aren't all that much different now, but the materials are mostly better. Composites sides, MUCH higher insulation, more RV's without wood as a primary framing member, etc. That’s why I told my wife NO when she wanted an RV and or a Trailer. I love the R3 insulation on the roof and walls
Sounded like a Chop Shop
I always hear about having to fix shit all the time. Just bought a house in Havasu so no more asking about that shit no more
Composite sides look more modern, but they’re not better…especially in the desert heat. The methods aren't all that much different now, but the materials are mostly better. Composites sides, MUCH higher insulation, more RV's without wood as a primary framing member, etc.
That is hilarious and the best description I've heard yet!I always used to describe my trailers as a tuff shed on a flat bed built by a meth head, what could go wrong
Forget Newmar, buy a Newell Or a Marathon coach!BE A MAN. BUY A NEWMAR.
Not referring to the fiberglass sides of old. Referring to the azdel and such of modern RV's (within the last 6 or 7 years for widespread adoption).Composite sides look more modern, but they’re not better…especially in the desert heat.
Or a GMCForget Newmar, buy a Newell Or a Marathon coach!
I don’t remember using a square when I worked there.I bet they use a square and a tape measure when they build tuff sheds
Got one.Or a GMC
I just got back from Middlebury Indiana to have a slide out fixed on the Showhauler Super C I drove to Indy for the races and I got to tour the factory. For a lot more money you get a lot higher quality and they only aim to deliver one a week but forty a year is a normal year.
I toured the town and was surprised that most manufacturers are there including Jayco and their facilities are huge. They say the population is 5,000 but goes to 20,000 on work days. The town is incredibly clean and the people are extremely nice.

No doubt, I’d rather be less cool and comfy.Nice Pete 389. Would suck to be stuck driving that day cab all the time though. A short high roof sleeper would have made a better transition to the RV portion and would have been a lot more comfortable.
That thing is gonna be like driving a u haul.
Days without DART. Never. That frame flip was insane
