Been here for three hours, and they're still working on the stitches. I'll have to provide the details tomorrow.

Looks like the time I slammed my finger in the car door and couldn’t get the door open and pulled my finger out and almost removed the end of it. Trip to the ER, pain injections in the web of my fingers, stitches and a bunch of antibiotics because I was dumb enough to rinse it off in the lake. Took about a month or more to heal and never been right since.

Hope they get you patched up quick!

This involved a pitbull. I had my pistol out but couldn't get a clear shot.

I now have 40 stitches in my left hand and 10 in the right. I'm gonna go home and abuse my fentanyl so I can sleep.

I'll post the whole story tomorrow.

My son's rescue is a pit mix, most calm dog, but I think , carrying a treat should be an insurance to throw at him if he ever changes his mood. ;)🤔 Bugger is almost 100 lbs, pulls you on the leash like an OX. RRRR, wish you a quick heal !

I'm wondering if 1st round being snake shot would have worked. I often wonder about close quarters situations where it's difficult to line up a shot.

I thought maybe all the damage to the hands was a side effect of the booty and side boob threads that were locked.

Seriously though, those hands look like they hurt. Hope recovery is speedy.

Sorry to hear you got bit, thats gotta suck.

But honestly, I am looking forward to the details, because you mentioned you had your gun with you. So I want to learn from your experience. To see if there is anything different that could have been done to prevent this injury.

I have had my ccw for about 9 months now, and its a huge responsibility to carry in public, at least for me.

I know you're no stranger to cuts , wounds and general "boo-boo's"...but be careful with those. The pain from the repair/stitching is probably mostly from the cleaning out. The risk of infection from a dog bit is pretty gnarly. Hope all is well this morning, and you got some sleep.
