Had a set Vaca in April. Wound up going in June. The Rain STOPPED the freeway it was coming down so hard. Thank the stars I was at an off-ramp. Sight seeing it was. Only AZ ever had rain like that I ever had to drive in. It made white out snow seem easy.

I like the rain when I’m not at work or trying to build a house. We didn’t get the base material down for the driveway (240’ or so) and the rain gutter guy wasn’t able to get them up yet so I’ll be regrading part of the driveway. There’s a small sample of the cleanup I have ahead of me. I spent all day moving mud to create a pathway.

And don’t forget the weeds are gonna be growing like crazy. Winter rains= more grasses to dry out and pose elevated fire risk in the summer/fall.
