I have 4 sets to make, If anyone is interested in ordering a set let me know.

The Driver's Seat has a 6" travel, Passenger seat is designed to flip around and be perfectly positioned in both directions (hugging close to the dash when backwards, and normal leg room when forward).

Greg Pursley has the only set i built so far in his Orange 20' Schiada, he says they work excellently.

I'm not sure what the final price yet, Assume they are in the ballpark of $2,500 for the set of both, Anodized and assembled if you are interested. Pricing will be determined on all the factors of machining/material/polish/anodize etc.

By the way, they don't need to be this low, and at least one of the sets i am making will probably need to be on 5" base, so i'll be working out how to make that possible while keeping all the primary components between the high and low bases interchangeable.

I was ready to pull the trigger on a set of these seat bases, but when I saw the finished product in that orange Schiada, I had a change of heart. There is no way my sled is worthy of anything that nice. Damn Racey, what an amazing looking boat and an ultra-clean install!! Flawless would be an understatement! VERY nice!!! ;)

Beat them up with a hammer before you install them. "Prolem" solved. :)

I'm grateful for the compliments

Don't worry, you can barely see them under the seats, nobody will ever even know they are there :D

Damn. Those would be sweet. But like backlash said. If I put those in my sled it would only make it worth 3500. Ok. Maybe 4K. Lol
Very very nice [emoji106]

How much for a pair of passengers? I don't need an electric motor in them, but having 2 seats that can rotate 180 degrees would be nice.

Same price, they are essentially the same amount of machining and materials either way. (the electric motor is the cheapest part of the entire seat ;))

I'm old school, so your word is good. I will give you a final price to agree on before we start. Obviously the more sets built the lower the cost
Imposter! Those seat bases are trick.

Well done Shane. As usual.

Too bad we can’t use that platform on the 19 Schiada!

One set I have is going on a 19 just like yours, ill be hanging some brackets off the stringers instead of mounting through the floor, there will be some design tweaks to accommodate this.

Will they match up with stock 21 RC interior mounts. Would like a price on both fronts with no motor

I have been in the middle of nonstop large projects since this thread started and the seat base project just kinda got put to the back burner. I haven't forgotten about it, but i need to sit down and make the design work so that it can be easily interchanged between different base heights.

You can't really do a slider without the motor, the motor is about the cheapest part of the whole deal, maybe $130... I actually went with the motor over doing a mechanical system for cost and simplicity.
