I'm amazed at how its grown since Trump took office. I don't think it has anything to do with Trump. ;)
Uhhh, let me see, zero growth for 8 years under Obama & my portfolio has doubled since Trump came in office & market is at record highs.

Gee, I don't know if it had anything to do with him. Boy or boy, libbies are seriously delusional.

“Zero Growth for 8 years under Obama”

It always amazes me how people can completely disregard facts to support their dogma.

https://www.businessinsider.com/9-c...-economy-to-obama-bush-administrations-2019-9
In the 8 years Obama was in office the DOW went up only 5000 points (that's 8 years) and only because they kept Federal Interest Rates at historic lows the entire time.

in just 3 years with Trump the market is up 7000 points (that's not even 3 years yet) and the feds have been raising interest rates as soon as he was in office.

Just sayin'

Just saying
The POTUS generally gets far too much credit for anything - good or bad - when it comes to the stock market.

So was it up “zero” as you posted the first time, or 5,000 in your second post?

Which is it?

Which post was a lie?

Which post was true?

Or can you even distinguish between the two?

You’ll be whining like GRADS if it drops while an R is in charge though.

But you are absolutely correct, the POTUS is only a small factor.
It always does drop while a R is in charge. It’s what you love to do... Rack up huge deficits and crash the stock market. Boy look at Billy C & B.O! 210% & 182%! How’s your messiah holding up 38% and you guys are screaming Almighty Status?

Kelly Ann Conjobway told him Zero but then Sarah Colonel Sanders told him 5000! Tonite Chachi will meet them halfway at 2500?

There is not one thing in that article that is illegal. Not one single thing. The President has the power to press the pause button on foreign aid as long as he either releases the funds before the deadline, (which he did) OR he asks congress to reconsider the allocation for some reason. (like corruption) Again, not one single thing illegal in that article.

Another observation - How did this organization file a FOI lawsuit and win that lawsuit in less than 6 months? Sounds a little fishy.

And?

There are docs that would make it interesting in the Senate, but Lindsay and Mitch won't allow their corruption to be exposed.
Your boy Trump can make his bitch Mitch do whatever he likes. If the Senate buries this it is because Trump wants it buried.

Libs love QE and blame Trump for what it’s caused.

Nomi Prins write a book called:Collusion: how central bankers rigged the world.

I just started it and it’s amazing.

Some food for thought:
Since QE began, in the aftermath of the financial crisis, “the US Federal Reserve has produced a massive $4.5 trillion of conjured money, out of a worldwide QE total of around $21 trillion”, says Prins. The combination of ultra-low interest rates and vast monetary expansion, she explains, has caused “speculation to rage … much as a global casino would be abuzz if everyone gambled using everyone else’s money”.

Much of this new spending power, though, has remained “inside the system”, with banks shoring up their balance sheets. “So lending to ordinary firms and households has barely grown as a result of QE,” says Prins, “nor have wages or prosperity for most of the world’s population”. Instead, “the banks have gone on an asset-buying spree”, she explains, getting into her stride, “with the vast flow of QE cash from central banks to private banks ensuring endless opportunities for market manipulation and asset bubbles – driven by government support”.

My bad, I meant paltry growth even with the feds keeping interest rates around zero the whole time.

LOL. You do realize that's exactly what I said. Boy oh boy.
You’d do well to focus on percent change rather than just the value of the market. You add 5000 to 5000 and that’s a 100% gain. Add another 5000 and the second increase to 15000 is only a 50% change.

So the president is the cause of stock market rise and falls, or not? Or it’s only the president’s fault when it goes up with a D and down with an R?

Make a decision RaguDaddy :)

This is EXACTLY why the current market performance is so impressive. You just can’t keep doubling the market again and again in 8-10 years.

Markets would have risen out of the toilet in 09 and doubled regardless of Obama or McCain as President.

Obama also told us further market growth was “impossible” and he had no magic wand to bring jobs back. That has since been proven wrong.

Don’t know how your confused Loafer? As with every President... He gets credit or blame for all that happens when he’s in office! So The Game Show Host gets credit for his 38% & 4 trillion increase in debt and BC gets 210% & BO 182%. Just like Regan 186% increasing National Debt & Your boy Baby Bush turning the place to dust and bailing out all the banks!:)

BO had a 9 Trillion increase in 8 years during the worst recession in history. DT has a 4 Trillion increase in 3 years in what you Trumpkins consider the best economy in the history of world civilization? You tired of grape yet? If so switch to strawberry!

You need to lay off the vodka sauce.. congress spends the money, not the president. Last I checked all the turds eagerly voted to spend every penny of that deficit, and circle jerked themselves off about it, not crediting DJT at all lol.

Yes. My portfolio and workload at the company I work for has been the same since President Obama was in office.

Then why the 4 Trillion increase in debt?

3 big reasons, amongst others.
1) interest on previous debt is about half trillion per year. Trump didn't build that.
2) The military was in shambles. Trump is spending more than Obama, rightfully so, on rebuilding the military.
3) difficulty cutting existing spending/programs. Trump can say he wants to get rid of something, but after the lobbyist get done greasing their Senators and Congressmen, the items are back in the budget.

I don’t even know why I reply to your drive-by foolishness...

Even the New York Times admits that most Americans got a cut.

https://www.nytimes.com/2019/04/14/business/economy/income-tax-cut.html

Experts are divided on whether the tax law was a good idea. But there is little disagreement on this core point: Most people got a tax cut.

The Tax Policy Center estimates that 65 percent of people paid less under the law and that just 6 percent paid more. (The rest saw little change to their taxes.)

Other analyses reached similar conclusions. The Joint Committee on Taxation — Congress’s nonpartisan team of tax analysts — found that every income group would see a tax cut on average. So did the Institute on Taxation and Economic Policy, a left-leaning think tank that was sharply critical of the law. In fact, that group went even further: In a December 2017 analysis, it found that every income group in every state would pay less on average under the law in 2019.

The Republican leadership is either pretending to hid something? or they are hiding something.

We need trump to speak to the senate, and answer a line of questioning.
