Pictures won't do these boats justice. They have some of the nicest lines and are some of the best performing boats on the water, so in honor of Jim Cole's memory lets see your Cole Boat (s)

This boat has been in my life since I was born. In 1982 when my dad found out my mom was pregnant with me, he promptly sold his Haskell Jet Boat and bought this 1982 Cole Mini Cruiser. An much quieter outboard and more room for all the extra gear he would be bringing along, once I was brought into this world.

I seriously love this boat and hope that my dad will pass it down to me one day, it is an amazing piece of craftsmanship and still gets a  everywhere we go, to this day. RIP Jim.

here is mine 79 Cole TRII, just finished it this summer. RIP Jim Cole.

This is the boat that sealed my destiny as a river rat for life at 7 or 8 years old on the Parker Strip.

It was the moment my balls dropped and I clearly understood my Dad's love of all things flatty and gobs of horsepower. It was like a light switch... one minute I was only interested in cartoons and Atari and in a blink of an eye it was horsepower and down pedals.

So much so that I named my first born Cole.

Bad ass boat!!

So with that said, why do you have a jet bote in your sig line?

Bought this Cole Boat in 1999, brand new from Jim Cole, he was truly one of the last World Class Boat builders. I thought he was quite a character, some had issues with him, I never did. He was always very respectful to my wife and children when we were watching the build.
The lines on a Cole are timeless, and for being built 15 years ago, it still holds it's own, with anything being built out on the West Coast. Always say it was my first NEW boat purchased, it's also going to be my last. I too, hope to pass it down to one of my children or grandchildren. I am truly saddened to hear of his passing. Rest in peace Mister Jim Cole.

When I used to live in Simi Valley my hot rodding buddy, Rex lived around the corner from me. His son bought this beautiful Cole brand new I think in early 90's and kept it at Rex's house. It was stored outside but covered next to his garage. His son used it once. Yes, just once the whole time I lived there, almost 20 years.

Eventually the cover deteriorated and despite Rex's badgering, his son never put a new cover on it. The interior went to crap and Rex told me his son sold it a couple years ago. Didn't even want to know what it sold for but I'm sure someone got a really good deal on it.

I sold mine to get something bigger. It was such a cool boat. I ran into the guy I sold it to a little ago and he was loving it. Made me mad I sold it. Picture from this last summer. Right now the boat is at Arko for new interior and to Kornowski to fix up the gelcoat. Will post more pics when it is done.

There aren't so many that you will see one every time you are on the water, but now that you know the classic lines of a Cole, they will definitely catch your eye... And are even more impressive in person!!! [emoji106][emoji106]

Oh and I forgot to mention, they rarely come up for sale, and when they do, they don't sit around long

RIP Jim always a stand up guy and built some very fast boats with great line
he was working on a 26 cat before he became ill. This cat has state of the art
lines and that Cole flair. As far as I know this mold is done but no boats produced
as of yet.

Wow a Cole 26 cat? I would love to see one built. If the mold is there, someone needs to step up and build it.

Classic Cole lines in a cat? It sounds World Class, no pun intended.

Would like to know where that mold goes.

beautiful boats! I wanted to buy one in 2002, was out of my budget at the time. His boats are truly "world class" (imo).

Wow. A lot of beautiful Cole's. One thing I have not seen are any outboards, except for our Mini Cruiser. Was our boat one of only two Cole's ever made with an outboard?

This is the only other one I have ever seen in 1982 Powerboat Magazine.
