Thick, green, and lush ... digging the St. Augustine. How ya doing Booby?
That St Augustine gets gnarly fat.
My Havasu house has permanently mowed grass:p:D

Not for my Bermuda lawn:eek:
This is the only stuff I have found that will kill bermuda in a fesque lawn and not hammer the fesque. So, yeah, not for bermuda :)

I’ve been a big fan of the EGO electric stuff from ACE and the Home Depot I have the mower, weedwacker and chainsaw
X2. The new Ego mowers are pretty incredible. Their trimmer, blower and hedge are the best in the market.

Find a used Sensation. Mine is 40 years old and still works like a champ.

Just add a new cheap Briggs and Stratton engine every 10 years.

My first gardener (son) moved out and my 16 YO millennial son threatened me with litigation if I make him do any manual labor:D:D I beat his ass but since the mower died we have a real gardener now. Much easier since this guy does most of the houses its only $60 a month for weekly service. Now if I could just get my son to pick up the dog shit. I told him I heard the gardener stop his mower and yell "too much caca"

Just know you will have the same grass as your neighbors. I started with marathon and ended up with St. Augustine

I have Marathon II for my front lawn and have been fighting with Bermuda grass for years. Lawn is now 15 years old.

I apply this stuff about every month just to try and stay ahead of it.

Plan on maintenance like SCV2RVR said. I did the same thing for years but its difficult. Depends on what your neighbors have since wind blows seeds and shit too. I used to buy this chemical that would kill other "non fescue" species but it was expensive, something like $80 for a few ounces. it worked well but I finally gave up. I still overseed with a fescue so it doesn't go so dormant in the winter

Clover is my issue.
Have to buy the clover version over the net. No one stocks it out here:

Crabgrass control eventually kills Marathon 3. One must use it super sparingly.
