Kind of frustrating when you are TRYING to give someone money and they cant even bother to give you a call back after you give them your info.

I haven't looked in awhile, but OT exhaust, uncovered engine, and greater than XHP in a 18' boat were all problems. I'm not one to lie about HP to pay for insurance that will later be denied.

I have tried to insure my Howard. I finally gave up. It has a open engine. 1000+ HP and they wanted a picture. Once they saw the picture they said what was top speed. I said 70. I don't think they believed me. I got two no ways and a $1800 price that I thought was ridiculous.

My brother in law got his insured by Wozencraft. 1982 21RC Schiada, twin turbo, ski race setup, no hatch, open stringers. Insured for $50k, $1300 per year! That’s cheap. If yours is $1800 per year...that’s not that bad. Considering the alternative possibilities.
