it might not be fair to compare those two boat tho, however...
Lol I’m not going to get into the price thing, that’s been hammered to death and most people just talk out of their asses... I think it was Matt, my dad pissed him off. He was looking at the 230’s and Matt came over and said any questions? My dad said where’s the mood lights? Matt said oh it’s a 230 they don’t have mood lights. My dad said I dunno, our 230 has mood lights. Matt said good for you, and walked away :p

Maybe Cobra had “the Deal of the Show” after all. I think the 230 Razor included a tandem axle Extreme trailer for the stated price of this 25 without a trailer. [emoji848]

With a 6 liter? What was the price?

I heard them tell someone 62k... upgrade the engine, the shifters, and a few little things and your back to 70k - 80k... options add up quickly.

let me make myself clear, not saying the stated boat here doesn't have value or isn't a good deal. My point here was, since when is a trailer an additional charge or "option"?

There are lots of fumes produced when building a boat... :)

Eliminator does not include what engine package the boat comes with in some of their show pricing :)

It's like Vic never left ! :D
That was part of the reason. Guys think they know everything and they don’t... I’ve had a a 230 built has lof? Attitude and his family had a brand new speedster built has lof? But hey he’ll tell ya everything about it kind of like my wife coming on rdp and me getting a divorce. Holy shit that was funny to read.

Nice to see you posting again Vic. If you see me idling through the channel with my twin trolling motor 27 speedster flag me down. I won’t be hard to miss at .5mph:D

Hopefully they can fix the seat bases... one was installed upside down.

and then i read about hoping its rigged right?

Um....does this not scare anyone when building a "custom Boat"

I don’t know what red deck you are talking about because both of them were red but I believe it’s the 28 that starts at 108k and with a 520 it’s about 130, I dont see him asking 265k for a used boat unless 825 teagues and an out drive are in the six figures.
It was the red 26 off to the left. The 28 that was to the right is Troy personal boat. I asked twice just to clarify and he qouted $265k with all the upgrades.

He was pissed off at me at DS. I think my buddy gave me one of his BLs out the cooler. :).

I think it was the deal of the day at the show, but to buy it now without wood and a decent trailer its inline with pricing on other MFG's.

Seems like an amazing deal even at 70K but then again I may be a bit bias.

It is a great boat. Perfect for what we want to do. First time it was splashed today and all I can say is they hit a home run. Troy and I will be talking next week to see if we can do what we want, within our budget.

Nope. Promised Troy I wouldn't say anything. I think he text RD with the number, so if Dave wants to post it, he can.

Per their Instagram 64mph 23 Rev 4 prop, 30 gallons of fuel, 2 passengers.

Not too bad [emoji1303]

Well there you go!! It did well. There is more in it. He is going to lift the motor slightly and it can definitely turn a bigger wheel.

Very minimal bow lift too. Rolls over like butter.

Edit:

If it can run an honest 64 with 3/4 fuel and your family that’s a great boat.

Honestly boat full of gear and people 60 would be just fine. To clarify it’s really closer to 23ft of running surface correct?

Might try to work a deal with Troy, depending on how backed up he gets.

65 is a good number. My 23’ with 8.2mag will top out at an honest 68mph will full tanks and 3 guys. I run around 60 for majority of the dam run. I can stay towards the front like that. I need an extra 100mpg if I want to stay ahead of don johnson

I don’t want to take away from interceptor but it would be nice to see what a similarly 21/24 Lavey priced out at. With 300/400 power

I have long felt that my boat with a 400 would be a winning combination. Already a 75 mph boat with an HO. Probably at least as fast with the 400 outboard.

21 XtSki (walk though open bow at 23’ overall length) with a 400R goes 86mph with a box stock Rev4 (not sure the size). Would see at least 90 with a better speed prop like a Max5. The 24 has a better more efficient bottom so I speculate around the same speeds.

I’d be happy to send you a price quote on those setups. It’s going to be more $$$ compared to the Interceptor, but it’ll also be quite a bit faster.
