That would be a sweet little ride. If it were closer to me it would already have a home...wait a minute, my neighbor is up in the Seattle area visiting family and is schedule to drive back on Monday of next week in his SUV...hmm.

I would hate to even put that time machine on the water. (not that schiada's are ever put on water, lol) Would make a great Garage Art conversation piece for $2500 bucks! If it wasn't located in CHAZ I might buy it 🤪

Same here, I wouldnt either. Just keep it inside. Get that trailer re-done. Would be awesome!

I bet it's a scam but I just replied to see if it's still available and if the price was correct.

Can only reply by email and it comes up as Phoenix craigslist when you reply. I guess we will see

That is just incredible. It needs to spend the rest of its life in Parker or in the lower river.

If it is up there I could maybe get my son who lives up there to look at it.

If its real, Ill be there Sunday. I sent an email, Id bet its a scam being that its listed in PHX. It does have WA tags on the trailer, and says its in Seattle, so who knows.

I did also. I'd run up tomorrow and grab it. But I still haven't got a response.

You better get a hand shake and buy it ASAP. Once the Hells Angels and Mongols get there they could buy it out from under you.

Dang! I'd jump on that even if it needed stringers. I don't recall ever seeing a TOP with the Kiekhaefer badging. Is that common?

I am near this West Seattle location ( 30 miles or so) and am willing to take a look at it if anyone is serious about buying it. I'm ignorant about 40 + year old outboard boats but am intuitively cognoscenti of all things mechanical. PM me if you would like to have it checked out from some one local. Seems like 2500.00 is less than it is worth, but who am I to guestimate the value?

What is ironic is after seeing this post on RDP, I checked the Seattle CL ads for boats and the first one that popped up was an old friends Active Thunder. Want a wave crusher for a great price, check this out. Owners name is Paul, boat has a LOT of hours on it though.

Another one of those boats that would be tough for me to sell if my dad bought in 64 and has been in the family all those years!

A sad truth I have learned Is that the things that are important to you are only important to you and I’m e you’re gone the value is pretty much gone as well. I have two Indian motorcycles that are my pride and joy. I know when my days are done here they will be sold by my kids. Wife is pushing me to donate to a museum as I rarely ride them Anymore and at least let other people enjoy them

I agree totally that they only hold value in the owners mind.

I look at things like this boat and wonder what pushes people to get rid of something so well cared for all those years. Maybe you just need the room? I find it hard to believe that 2500 is enough to make a life impacting positive effect - enough worth selling.

If that boat was in our family I’d hang it in the garage just to look at when I had beers before selling it.

I understand the need sometime a when it’s a $number that can really help but how far can a couple grand go???

The museum idea might be cool in that your will create a legacy with the donation???

So I’m not trying to hijack this thread but since the other boat apparently is gone who cares. I will make a proper add when I have time. But the little Schiada out board that my buddy has in golden shores just north of Topock he will let go for $1800. Obviously it hasn’t run in years but it does have the Merc old school hot rod 100 power tower it needs some work fiberglass and everything else but if anybody’s interested he’s ready to put tires on the trailer for 1800 and and watch her go out the gate Its the exact boat thats in the add
