I have no problem with them criticizing those who have an opposing idealology. If they can present facts about the opposition in a clear and unemotional manor then more power to them.

In light of the power and monopolies the oligarchies have the idea of real competitors emerging is likely a fantasy. Competitors are targeted and crushed or simply bought out of existence - it's how oligarchies do it. It's how they got to be what they are today.
