Anyone here know John?
His shop is closed down, number disconnected.

I’d love to buy some Klemm Research stickers if he has any left.

I have an 87 J Arm banshee that has run Klemm pipes since it was new.
Those stickers on the mufflers won’t last forever.

I wanted him to mod my 550 jet ski soooo badly back in the day. But as a broke ass college student, it wasn’t gonna happen.

The shop on Van Buren had only been there since 1996-7ish.
He was running the shop down in Corona before that.

I lived in Corona at the time, their place was off of Maple.
Then they were gone?🤷‍♂️

A year or so later the wife and I buy in Riverside and I start making my new commute to Eliminator.
Cross the 91 and on the left side is Klemm?🤷‍♂️
Sweet!👍

If you find him, let me know. He’s the only one that’s touched my stuff for as many years as I can remember

Yea, they closed up shop a while back. I went in there maybe like 8-10 years back looking for some Mikuni jets, and they sadly didn’t have much. A couple years later it was even worse. Selling China bikes and such.

Loved having a small shop near by, but I guess it’s tough to keep up with Malcolms or Chap

Harry and his brother Gerhard, are really great guys. Back in 2000 and again in 2002, he did stage II mods on both my wife's 99' Yam XL1200 and my 02' Kawai STRX 1200. They run hard and have been mechanically flawless since, other than normal maintenance, plugs, filter etc.
Back then his shop was filled with 2 stroke PWC, now with this resurgence of vintage 2 stroke bikes --- of course where they got their start --- they've circled back to the 60's with Klemm Vintage and it's cycles again.

The answer to how Klemm Cycle Supply and Klemm Research came to be owned by John Greenway, answered by Harry himself. 👍

My good friend raced for Jet Ski’s for Group K…we often went out to the shop and hung out with Harry and Gerhard…some great guys and true racer/builders!
