At one time I thought Kyndl was my friend. We were neighbors at the river and I drove his kid, girlfriends, and family around for a summer on my boat when his boat was broken down. I went as far as letting his family use my shower, since his own was out of service. Saying that out loud seems odd for a plumber now that I think about it. When I needed a plumber, my first thought was to reach out to Kyndyl. Never did it cross my mind that a friend would screw me over and not take responsibility for his actions. His professionalism is far below standard. There seems to be a pattern for the businesses such as Wallace Property Services, Wallace Development, Wallace Plumbing, and now the newest one Black River Plumbing. He is open for business then he quickly closes them down to screw people from recovering their money. It is very clear that he does not have a valid contractors/plumbing license in the state of California. Nor at the time that I asked did he have liability insurance either. He makes these businesses LLC’s so he can shut them down and walk away without liability to him or his finances. It’s upsetting to see him driving around the Parker Strip and Lake Havasu in his newly restored Schiada knowing that the money he has swindled out of people has funded a life style he does not deserve. Not for a moment should anyone believe a word that comes out of his mouth. My main goal for sharing this information is so no one else on this page has to go through what I did or so many others have. Do your due diligence and make sure you check out the people you hire.

I had a leak in an upstairs bathroom. Had him check it out and diagnose. He quoted me a price to repair and renovate the bathroom. I was going through the insurance for the repairs due to the nature of the leak. He took it upon himself to completely demo the entire bathroom without my permission prior to any insurance inspection and did not properly document anything with photographs. The insurance company declined the claim due to the damages and cause of the leak being remived before the inspection. He took no responsibility and the cost to replace everything in the bathroom was all on me. Come to find out he did not have a contractors license and his insurance that he provided had been expired for several years. I paid him a 1/3 of the cost upfront so he could pay his guys. He said he would make it right and then bounced. I’ve tried numerous times over the past 6 months to reach him and develop a plan make it right. There are a lot of good people in the community and this is just to inform them.

You’re referring to the job that you had us repair and tried remodeling a whole bathroom with a budget that was banking on the insurance to cover the rest but didn’t, and when they didn’t you blamed us for it. The one where you only paid the sub-contractors costs and had everything done but the showered tiled because you couldn’t afford it (if I remember correctly the cost was only going to be in the $2500 range) even got recessed lights, new electrical and a new fan installed

Who else will remodel your bathroom for $4,200? because, that’s all you paid. (Refer below) you didn’t get ripped off no work was left incomplete that you paid for you stopped the job due to cost. (Original Estimate for insurance is attached to compare what was paid vs what was estimated) I’m not here to air out your financial situation but this is the reality of that job.

As stated by @SFV2RVR and other members we’ve done work and are doing work for currently, everything is always completed as promised and quality is 2nd to none. Even go above and beyond at times.

So quick to point the finger and air out grievances when there’s always 2 sides to the story. I think this is more bullshit then anything because I did consider you a great friend and tried helping you out and it bit me in the ass - if you pick up the phone things are a lot easier than drama. My number hasn’t changed.

I also didn’t take it upon myself to demo your bathroom, you were well aware, as you were out of town for a baseball tournament and left access to the house, I let your adjuster in to take pictures of the leak before repair was made and even supplied you with pictures of the demo as it was going on as well as you have the camera footage.
