You did a great job of wrapping that toy. Very odd shape makes it difficult without a box. An 8 month old child will not remember what they received for presents a year from now anyway. Take a video or photos of the child opening their presents, that’s where they will learn what their first Christmas presents were and from whom. Merry Christmas to you and your family.

I see no problem with that? If you were close I could have given you a crankshaft box and you could have used another roll and a half of paper! Not sure how old you child is to not that that's a giant nerf golf club anyway!

That there is a grandparent gift...given by someone out of earshot! Also a great gift for your party type friends when they have their first kid:D

How cool to see that Fisher Price ball popper is still being made. How many millions of kids do you suppose have sharpened their walking skills while pushing that childhood icon through the house?

In my mind, I can easily picture a grainy 8mm film of a small child and that toy, the bright lights on the camera alternately making the film flash red and yellow from overexposure as the toddler happily makes his way across the room.

A quick Google search reveals the ball popper first went on sale in 1957. It's produced fun and skill building for over sixty years!
