K-plane questions

I picked these up and plan to install them on my Spectra 20. One of the motors was frozen so I disassembled and cleaned both motors, added oil and they work fine. I found this exploded view online but wanted to know if any members have any experience disassembled the cylinder or installation. It appears that I must drill a fairly large hole to mount the tabs or do I disassemble the cylinder?

Very large hole..... and a lot of silicone......... and the hole possibly extends below the floor

Ive got them and would love to upgrade to the newer style.

One started leaking and the electric sending unit is FUBR.

I'm not looking forward to cutting all the sealer in the hole to remove and repair

fyi. the big ass hole in my transom is above floor but the lower bolt hole is below. Lavey 21 XTSki

Got it. I just like the fact that the pump and motor are built into the assembly. Some O-rings are still available online, the others should be a problem to have made.
