Eternity helicopters is setup (some here will know Jason, he always flies media and customers for desert storm and other Havasu of events).
If you want to bring more friends , High performance helicopters will also book race/chase flights that can take 5-11 and/or rescue broken SPEED vehicles. 😄

Looks BRUTAL!!! Kinda glad I decided to skip racing it this year, hahahah. Hopefully should be cleared up and REALLY good by the Desert Race this weekend. Its been a long time since its got any water out there so Im guessing a lot of areas will soak it up pretty quickly. Should help with the dust a TON !!!

Man I remember going out like 5 or 6 years ago when it rained and flooded the dry lake beds, I spent the next year getting the crap stuck to my YXZ out of the body panels, floor etc. that stuff dry's like concrete

I came home yesterday, perfect to timing, hopped in the jeep this moring and went skiing in wrightwood, was back in my office by lunch, poached some fresh powder turns. Loading up to move out to desert and take up residence for the next few weeks. The boys are sorting gremlins in the SXS still, gonna be interesting to see how it shakes out. 10 year old rzr that’s now a $50k $10k car 😂😂😂

They won’t tell me what they spent, they know I’ll bust there balls forever on this one. But the goal is to get int around the course, I’m onboard.

Any update on conditions by Hammer Town. @Deckin Around @whiteworks
Supposed to head out this afternoon for move in, but I might delay that until tomorrow morning. Stuck in the office until 1pm today.

Last pic I got is attached. As of yesterday, folks in the racer pits where reporting 4x4 high needed (Monday 4x4 low was required) and you sunk apx 2” when walking vs 4ish on Monday, due to the mud/dirt/sand slush.

I’m not out there right now, however based on past experiences I’ll say that there may be some low lying areas on the lakebed and in hammertown pits that are muddy but it drys out pretty quick and will be a dust bowl again before you know it. There may be some snow on north facing sides of bushes and areas that are shaded, but that goes away quickly also. If you see mud, don’t go in it, that shit is gorilla snot with super glue in it. Hammer town will be business as usual pretty quick. I’ll be back and forth as needed, right now the SXS Frankenstein car is getting some kinks worked out, looking to have it on the dirt very soon and beat it into submission. I’m headed back out soon.

Picture is looking directly towards Johnson Valley from Apple Valley, mother nature is doing a great job of drying things up a little bit before the big show.

Thanks for the update.
Was scheduled to leave at 2pm. Work has now made that closer to 4pm.
Just told the team, see you tomorrow. I will leave around 8am and be at camp around noon.
I dislike setting up camp in the dark, so punting this makes life easier as well.
Plus, I get to have a daddy / daughter sushi dinner while BofA takes my wife out to dinner tonight to celebrate a project.

No standing water in the pits now it will be dried out today.

Does anyone want to be my neighbor?
It’s not “surrounded by BLM land” it borders our property and 1 other 40 acre parcel.

I remember you telling me what you and your partners paid for your chuck of dirt. Going to have to stay poor in my RV

You only get one chance to buy your neighbors property.
If it is the property where the owner calls enforcement on everyone else having fun, then it should be a group buy to get them out :)

No shit. 5 acre lot on the street just sold for 125,000, the 10 acres in front of our favorite pig lady neighbor just sold for 200,000.

We have an offer at 300,000 that my partners and I have been using as a value estimate for potential buyouts right now and we all think it’s crazy. If I find the right person to buy 1/5 partnership for $60k that’s ideal. I own 3/5 now but would use some $ for a well and new gates.

Well team could not get into racer pit area.
The back pit area by gate 5 is very soft and flooded. KOH staff advised to not enter with RV’s.
They are hoping it dries out by Sunday

Late movies tonight, frankenRZR is looking good, four wheels on the ground in the desert, tidying up some details. I’m putting out some fires with a guest, he busted a shock so I had to recover the car and will be pulling the shock in the morning, we’ll see what parts show up out here, may have to pull both fronts and rebuild both so they match. 🤷‍♂️

This place is fucking awesome, if you don’t make it out this year, you will be one year older when you do.

Weather is superb, warming up nice, dead calm. Had some wood dropped this morning and getting ready for guests to arrive. Should be an amazing event.
