Went to Big Bear with the family. It was warm but time with the family is the best time. We didn’t do any boating. But we saw a bunch. If that counts as boat content.

Dinner in Long Beach with SJP. Beautiful boat

Put in at Orwood Resort on the delta. rode past Disco, then Tiki Lagoon, Turner Cut, out past my
sister's husbands defunct bar Lost Isle, and up past Windmill Cove... headed back towards ORwood

noticing ALOT of boat operators not knowing which side of the channel their supposed to be driving
on..... oh well.

Got to watch a huge freighter heading up the San Jauquin channel to Stockton... it was a nice
overall day on the water........

Sorry, not boating but definitely some pool and summer times!

Spent the weekend in Scottadale at our favorite hotel the Valley Ho. Went out to some tiki bars and such, spent three hours in the beautiful Western Heritage Museum which was amazing, some pool time, and looked at a few homes we are interested in. Absolutely love Old Town Scottsdale. Felt like a tropical vacation but only a 1hr and 15min flight from our house.

Nicest people and best service everywhere we went. Made lot's of new friends too! Weather was cooking but left the town quiet which was awesome for us! Ate at our favorite place Hula's a couple of times which is always a pleasure.

We love the grounds and the hotel of the Valley Ho. We are huge mid century modern fans and this is as cool as it gets for us to feel like we are back in the 50s. Built in 56 and fully renovated in the 2000s. Modern, clean and beautiful. The whole time we are there we can only imagine what it would have been like in the late 50s and early 60s there!

Western Heritage Museum was amazing.

Such great folks!

Paul Calle the featured artist at the museum who is amazing. He was a commercial artist but his passion was realism painting of mountain men from around the early to mid 1800s.

Spent the holiday in Couer D Alene what an awesome place the lake was bigger than I thought my buddy has a house there. Plan on spending a couple months a year there when we retire!!!

Beaver we spent three hours there in April. Really terrific venue with great historical pieces. The Barry Goldwater Photography exhibit was there. What a surprise to see his passion and talent for Arizona’s history.
