Cool, just excuse the trailer when you see it, it is my temporary one until I finish the final one. 😂

no stress man! All good things...

I’m hoping this wind dies down, it’s a little nuts

last one was a huge bummer day for someone. It was a pristine all white Canary. Sounded strong, I think I heard someone mention it hadn’t been off the trailer for 7-8 years. I noticed some mist or spray that seemed to be coming out of the hat about 5 seconds later we hear a pop and lights out. 60 seconds later there’s smoke. Alcohol fires are no joke. Glad everyone was safe, but the boat was charred. Def made me sick to see, it was such a beautiful boat

No freaking way with the white boat! That thing was beautiful. Same one in my pics?? What a bummer. Was running hard right before we left.

if it was the white one I am thinking of it was running great earlier in the day.

If it was the all white one from my pics, he made some nice passes right around 11am and then when he went back on the trailer we left.

Finally figured out the secret to watching these videos --- without an Iphone or Taptalk or magic cube.
Click on the dots and download it, then it plays great.

no, different one, this one was the blown alcohol one. The ones in your pics was NA. It was very similar in color layout, all white with black alum. I really didn’t grab many pics today, but I think it was parked next to @MonkeyButt70 kindsvater, he knew the guy, and launched him. I didn’t catch a name unfortunately

Oh gotcha. Thanks for the clarification! Total bummer either way, but at least no one was hurt. Boats can be fixed.

We had a great time!!

I saw that one, he was playing around with it and put in in the drink to check for leaks. Shortly after that he fired it up in the pits and it sounded awesome.
I think the guys name was Don.

Having seen boat fires on Havasu, I can't believe they got that extinguished without it burning to the water line or sinking from getting hosed down, amazing really.
Huge rupture of the fuel tank, expansion during the fire ? If so that would have spilled and ignited all the fuel, crazy there's not a lot more damage.

What a bummer 😖

Not a good day for Don's K boat. Could've been worse though... Yes, a guy in a blue and white Jet boat cruiser put the fire out after many attempts. He was a skilled driver whoever he was.

just so you know it was a jet boat that saved the day this year. A K boat caught on fire and it was a jet boat that put it out. Took him a few tries but he finally got it.

We arrived at Paradise right when they were putting the boat back on the trailer. My wife overheard the conversations going around the boat referring to the blue jet boat that saved the day while I was out looking at some eye candy in the lot. Wife told me the story (she's a great listener) and it was confirmed with Sharpshooter. Thank God to those who responded (Laveycraft and Blue and White Jet Boat) to save a life and a boat.

Sharpshooter: It's always a pleasure running into you whether it be a boating event or car show, keep up the Great Work...

Shout-out to Dilligaf: Thanks for the accurate weather report (light wind) that inspired me to get off the couch and have another memorable New Years Day at Paradise...

Rumor has it that a guy in a blue jet boat helped with putting out the fire with his boat. If that's true then jet boaters deserve a little love now and then...
No rumor, that guy came from across the lake like a raped ape and started dousing the shit out of it doing circles around the back of it throwing water in it. It was really cool, I heard the owner say he was concerned with saving the motor... don’t let it sink! Lol
