It's why we run 4 dock lines always. I still have to back in because cleats don't line up.

Funny I don't even notice how bad the docks are until I go to Powell or Mead

I was in powell and even dangling rope was nice and that doesn’t even have a road in. Then in newport and the small boat docks are nice and not wobbly and cleats in the right space.

The worst docks are havasu Springs and topock imo

I kinda get the spots that are a little too small. The trend towards longer and wider caught most by surprise. The lag bolts sticking out and missing cleats are easy fixes for the businesses and a SOB for customers.

I still have a nice 4" scratch in the side through the color because of an exposed lag bolt at the Topock docks you could see....because it had rusted in to a nice matching color to the wood. Popped/ripped my fender first before it hit the boat

I went to topock on Sunday for breakfast, I have a nice 4” scratch now too. Couple that with horrible service for our party I likely won’t be back. I have a 23’ boat and even at the Springs it’s too narrow

where did you park?
i always use the end spots or the 3 spots facing the river and have never had issues.

At least Topock removed every other dock so the spots are wider after the gas pumps.
The spots at the Springs are way too skinny and did 2k of damage to my gel when a few screws that you could not see hit the gel as I was backing in.

so did we. Left the Islander @ 8am. We got the older lady that tends the bar as well and had zero issues in service. Our experience this year is most servers seem to have less experience then in prior years and the place is short staffed.

My inlaws have a place at the springs. i hate those docks. spots are kind of narrow and the dock "fingers" you walk on are way to narrow and falling apart. i just launch every morning and retrieve in the afternoon.

this was a couple years ago before they changed it up, but it was the row right behind the pumps coming in. now with the docks removed you just have to worry about idiots pulling in next to you that can't control their boat...lol

Compared to Katherines Landing all of Havasu’s docks are amazing.

You want jacked up docks? Try the fuckin mess at Crazy Horse! They are litterly using sheets of plywood to patch the holes. Cleats? What are those? The metal things that are half attached with only 1 bolt?!?!? Then you have 1/3 rd of the boats that look like they've been abandoned there and the site doesn't do shit about it! Dont get me started on the rest of the fucking crap that goes on there.

So let’s get this straight complains that you have a scratch on your boat from a dock? Did you have enough bumpers? Boat tied right?
Havasu a socks are amazing compared to the shit we have a mead.
I’ve been to Topock a lot. The service sucks. But the fact you get to tie your boat up and walk up eat and watch other boats makes it worth it. I just don’t expect much when I go there. It’s usually just a stop to get the kids out of the sun for a little while and a snack for them to get thru the rest of the day.

I don't actually think the docks at the springs or topoc suck at all. And they definitely don't suck at Pirates. We've never had issues docking fairly large boats at anyplace on havasu except the shallow issue at Topoc.

Just stayed at the new Havasu Landing Hotel, it just opened in November, so all the rooms are brand new still....the launch ramp and docks are all still perfect...

That’s good news! Is it fully operational for gaming and dining?

There’s a simple answer because it’s been this way for at least 30 years all the gelcoat repair shops in town have a contract with the dock owners, they do free maintenance.
