SO,... powell is gonna start holding back water to further lower lake mead,... and vegas is gonna put in a 3rd straw at the bottom of the lake instead of on the side..

The Upper Colorado River Group just reported that Powell is going to be getting water from Flaming Gorge this year to help it sustain a level above 3490 to keep the hydros working. Current level at Powell is 3522, which is now 3 feet lower than the level they agreed to keep it at.

The existing 3rd straw is at 800ft. Are they really going lower than that?? Got a link??
