I usually go the kingman way, the road is better especially if you are towing, and you don't have to worry about getting stuck behind a truck on that single lane section of the 95 between the 40 and the Laughlin turnoff.

Some restaurants are open with limited seating, i think it's 50% of fire occupancy right now.

I assume this would be midweek travel.
Traffic should be minimal on both routes (NV95 or AZ93). I prefer the 95. Road is a little rough at times. Driving out East to Kingman seems so far vs going straight South but it’s only a ~15 mile difference between the two routes.
I find more big rigs, RV and Sunday drivers are on the AZ93

Yes, we have been eating at Lake Las Vegas. It has been super busy. Even on a Wed at 2pm there is a wait. We rode our bikes over this morning to Cafe de Lac which is this awesome French cafe right on the water in LLV. It was so busy. Weather is just over the top nice right now. Not too hot, not too cool. LOVE IT.

We drove right over the big crack in the road (95) Sunday when we left Reno for good. It was repaired but you could definitely see it and feel it when you went over it. It was north of Tonapah.

Traffic has been pretty light—in both directions. Weekend/holiday traffic is almost none with casinos closed.

I do not see many Vegas boaters going to Havasu right now. We have this huge, shitty, choppy, rocky and muddy shore lake in our backyard that has been closed all year.

If you are looking at sit and eat here in Vegas before you leave, I suggest calling and making a reservation the night before or call ahead the day you are here.

As always I recommend The Coffee Cup for breakfast (stop by the bar and say hi to Terry)
Or Pit Stop for lunch/dinner.

Both are in Boulder City so close to where you will be coming/going.

I was just talking about Pit Stop today, telling some guys at work about their food. Coffee Cup does not need any type of advertising, that place is awesome.

if you like Frankies and the Golden Tiki you
should check out the Double Down Saloon. Let’s just say it’s a locals hang out there.

I actually went to the grand opening. Same owner ;) Double Down is cool, but so lowbrow my wife doesn't feel comfortable. You ever have an Ass Juice from there? :D

NDOT bought the plane, and another, but his plane is not American made. Any NDOT project I have been on we have to use domestic iron for the same purpose. I gave some higher ups at NDOT shit about the plane purchase.

Yeah but the maintenance ,fuel and professional pilot will come from the TAXPAYERS and wasn't that project already in process before he became governor? I bet money they didn't pay for the whole plane and I would guess the money had a stipulation on using American he just takes credit typical corrupt politicians playing both sides don't get me wrong they all do it no matter what side of the asile it's sad because it will never change! The only way it would is if your common man got elected with no debts or favors owed to anyone!!

Technically he is the boss of NDOT as well. It's proven time and time again that he's a careless spender. All of NDOT is our taxes, also they do get federal money as well, but the feds always audit NDOT.

We rode our bikes over to the little cool grocery store called Seasons in Lake Las Vegas Village yesterday to pick up ice. It was absolutely insane. So many people and lines to get in to the restaurants! SO GREAT TO SEE!!!! Must have been a good 100 or so people on paddle boards and kayaks on the lake too!

That's why I don't want to win the lottery. Those taxes are up to 50%

Yeah been trying to get a hotel for the day before we go back home. Looks like June 4th is the date that things are to open up. We were able to get a room at Hampton Inn near the airport if anyone else need a room for what ever reason.
