Leaking cavitation rod seal???

The greased fitting that goes into the hose on its way out of the boat is dripping badly.

Any way to tighten it, or is it replacement time?

Most of the time they are a rubber lip seal, occasionally they are stuffing. If it is the rubber lip seal call up glenwood and order one, they aren't very much money.

Bergeron marine makes a rubber collapsing boot that replaces the seal deal. Just 2 hose clamps hot ticket. It takes a different thru hull fitting but it looks and seals

Did you try pumping some grease in it? All my zerks leak at the beginning of the season until I fill them up with grease.
