LED utv whips issue(s)

I wont name the brand since they have been ok on the warranty part of this
I replaced brand x with 2 new 3ft whips
Full blue tooth app music etc
They both failed within hours. Same location about 8 inches up. You can squeeze or tap it and it works again. From 8 inch up it goes to a different color or pattern changes.
Company sent new ones. Same failure. Ive now gone through 3, i have 3 dead ones in my garage.
1 working on the car.
Ive checked power. Last brand never had issues.
Bad product? Bad music app controller box? This has a splitter built in.
I dont want to pull seats and remove it all then go with another brand. But this is getting ridiculous.

Just a bad product you think? Bad LED wrap?

Emailed the warranty dept yesterday to see what they want to do.

Whips have a small screw connector at each whip and screw at controller box. The controller box has hot and ground. Ground is to battery, gotta check connections.

lighting shouldn't be that challenging, I don't make time to mess with dat anymore. recent issues same as yours, the vendor had my shipping address memorized because he sent replacements so many times. I went back to basics.
