Is the dark color on your boat brown metalflake?? My Dad and Mom had one just like it. They bought it brand new in 1976. Had a big block ford with a berkley pump. It was a great boat.

2018 I’ve had it since 95. It’s seen better days. But when I’m on the water, it does just fine.

It is brown flake, but it is a ‘79 Miller bubble deck ski jet.

The gel/ paint is the only thing that is the same as when I bought it.

I restored this boat for a friend/customer.
79 saber jet, BBF, rebuilt berk pump, new keel stringer, floor, hull glass, interior, carpet, bilge gel coat etc. I did everything except the vinyl stitching. It turned out really nice. The seat trim is metalflake vinyl to compliment the hull color/flake.

Yea it's the same as they bought back in 1976. They bought it at sundown marine in newport if i recall. Dont see many around now. Always liked the fiberglass fenders. Except i think theres had a beige interior.

The International Scale of River Difficulty defines Class 5 whitewater as “Extremely long, obstructed, or very violent rapids which expose a paddler to added risk. Drops may contain large, unavoidable waves and holes or steep, congested chutes with complex, demanding routes….”

But in a properly outfitted jet boat with a skilled pilot, Class 4-5 is defined as family fun.

Thank you. It is a 1995 Cole Superhawk 22 foot. It has a 461 BBC with a Weiand 177 supercharger roughly 550 hp. Never put it on the dyno to verify just a estimate from builder. Running a dominator pump with a b cut impeller the best i have ever seen is 70 mph. If it had a bravo instead of the jet it would do much better speed wise but oh well. What year is your cole. post a pic of it. Always love looking at cole's
