I have some stock Rubi rocker guards...they would look nice on that jeep.

Also that thing is way to clean. I say jump on pirate4x4.com and post up a Q on air conditioning or a nice cat back exhaust for adding power. Then hold on to your nuts. No Seriously, hold them. It's gonna hurt. :D:D

whats the AC question??? I already did the magnaflo 18 body muffler

and whys my nuts gonna hurt???

Lol... Pirate is notorious for a bunch a A Holes tearing Newbie?s apart for asking stupid questions or the same question over and over again in the wrong section. There is some good info there if you can cut through the BS.

I always try and steer a newbie through there. Like hazing the new guy. Usually with an AC, cold air intake, or power programmer question. That gets ugly.

Public service announcement: To all Jeep owners....bolt on HP goodies do not work but feel free to log onto Pirate and ask. :D

Not the whole Jeep, but the newly rebuilt 304 for our 1978 CJ-5. +0.030 on 10:1 Diamond forged pistons, Comp roller cam, Manley valves and some light bowl work on the heads, DUI distributor, Edelbrock Performer and a small Holley. A nice mid-range motor that should have some snap. After break-in we'll put on the throttle body EFI pulled from an early 350 Chevy.

Rest of the Jeep has pretty much been gone through over the summer and fall with lockers and 4:88 gears front and back, CV drive shafts, rebuilt tranny and transfer case, and new BFG 12.5 x 15 x 33 tires. The new springs (3" lift) and shocks will be going on tomorrow. The PO installed a 1" body lift which I'll be leaving in place.

Hopefully ready within the next month :champagne:

Cheers, Mark

My Jeep was STOLEN from our property in Johnson Valley CA with a bunch of dirtbikeS and gear last February:swear:swear

Still missing... if you see it, call the SBCSO. Custom axles, suspension, dash, seats etc etc etc.

Deckin Around Sucks to hear that. Hate to say it but more than likely it's been parted out by now. Looks like you had a nice set-up.

Faceaz I've wheeled with a coupe Sami's and they are pretty capable. I was actually suprised at what they can handle.

Gotta ask, are you gonna extend the cage over the driver and front passenger?

I am. I just put on those hinges for the fold down windsheild, it did have the stock roll-bar till then. I'll end up adding onto the roll bar that's already there.

Picked up another Jeep this week. My youngest has been working on his 2015 for a while now. Just added the Rockjock 60's and PSC steering last week. Picked up the 2007 already done from one of the guys at CRC for my oldest son. Haven't decided what we're going to with his TJ yet.

Congrats on that 2007. I've been in the market for my 16 year old daughter (lol, at least that what I'm telling the wife and the daughter does truly want a jeep) and watched that silver one on craigslist for the last couple of months. I work in Corona and could tell that it was outfitted with the right equipment from Currie. I was just a little scared of the amount of miles it had on it. I hope it works out great for your son, it looks bad ass!!!!

I build all of the fiberglass for Currie/CRC, so I know the guys there pretty well. This was the Hot Wheels Jeep they did last year. It does have a lot of miles on it, but the axles, lift and accessories are all less than a year old. Normally I wouldn't have bought something with this many miles either, but liked the fact that this one was already done and ready to go.

John, are you do the Calico run in a couple of weeks with the wayalife guys? When are you going up to Big Bear next? Frank

I wanted to do that run. It sounds like a good run. I saw you are doing it.

We already booked a place at Glamis North that weekend. Haven't been out there yet. I heard there is some ok Jeeping (we'll see). We were going to go to Big Bear a few weeks ago with the guys from Currie, but the Jeep was still on the rack getting the 60's installed. We'll probably do a Big Bear run in mid November. I'll get ahold of you.
