I've always enjoyed the looks of a well made knife. I think I caught the bug to collect a few. I know there's no end to the cool stuff that RDP inmates have. Any suggestions regarding brand and type are appreciated.

In my desk, and one from my pocket. There's others in the car, truck and tool boxes.

My EDC is the Gerber Ripstop, top left. Had it for about 5 years now, if this knife had a tanto blade and window breaker nub it would be perfect. It's so thin, it never leaves my pocket, not even during sleep (I sleep in my pants...dunno why).

Second favorite is the Kershaw on top right with the serrated tanto, but it's thicker than the Gerber.

Newest one is lower left corner, the HK spring assist - thing scares me.

Coolest is the Southord pick set. You know, James Bond type stuff :thumbsup

I have one of those classic Buck's too, in with a gun box. Thing looks like new, but is about 35 years old. Looks like you've used yours just a little, lol

They hold an edge so well and cut an animal up nicely.

From top to bottom, the Buck folding hunter,
Spyderco Police, nicknamed my heeler, if I go down one swipe to the Achilles takes you to my level.
All 3 black handles are Benchmade,
9100 Auto stryker, push button auto open. I was issued it in Iraq and it is my favorite but I won't carry it outside of AZ.
527 Mini Presidio, no open assist, I bought while contracting in Afganistan, they didn't like me having my Spyderco, it was too big. I carry this the most.
530 Pardue with etched blade, no open assist, Christmas present from the company I was contracting for in Afg.
and the handy 3 blade pocket buck. I have no idea how many of this one I have lost over my lifetime.

Love the lock pick set. Very cool. I think James Bond slept in his pants too.

Must be careful with it coming out the pocket as it opens (designed to) pretty easy! :)

And a box full of Old Timers!...I need to dig out!

IMG_0085.jpg . Here's a few. The old school Buck is about 40 years old. The Explorer is about 35. I have a feeling that I'll be adding to my collection soon.

This one that my grandfather had made in the 80's. I carried it forever. Just put it up. It was a $700 knife in the 80's. Knife maker name was West. He doesn't make knives anymore. Local guy down here.

Here's some of mine. Lol

Way back I bought an auto just like the left one in kit form from a comic book. I put it together and had it for years. It got confiscated when I first enlisted while in school at 29 Palms and was retiring several broken pieces.

I've had most of those since I was a kid. 20 plus years. I went through a phase buying all kinds of illegal knives. Kept these ones all those years. They're neat little toys. That's about it. The knife at top I actually carry and it's a great knife
