Can a CMC lift be taken apart to powdercoat or are you stuck with the factory finish?

I think I'd probably go with anodize. Powdercoat can be thick & cause problems with re-assembly.

Do you want to powdercoat the actual pump / etc.. as well? Or just the outside portions of it? I'd annodize it if it was me.. BTW, if it's a jack plate (Lift?) then it's going to wear in the areas it's sliding up and down.

If it's a power trim, there isn't any real wear points..

Hi Dave its powercoated and fixed just set where you want and go, plus I dont use the boat..
