Do you just need something for customers to start drawing in shapes and colors?

Or do you need an exact scaled profile of the boat?

Do you have a Mac? The app is called pixelmator I think. It’s like photoshop.

You can take some profile pics and adjust the photo to just show the outlines/hard lines.

Unless you’re looking for a pro, then anyone with CAD experience can crank it out for you

Just sketch it out.

I’d take working from a loose sketch vs working from a blue print any day.

Drawing a picture on a piece of paper is one thing, making a 3D object look “just like” the computer generated rendering is another.

You planning to go in the mold graphics?
Or use the skills you already have with paint?

Exciting times in the industry. Lots of new starts. 👍👍

In the mold .. I think paint on a boat is so stupid when you can have gel .. 10x better fit

@stblaze08 talk with Jeff at smooth as glass in riverbank he is a talented mofo or he will know someone 209 868 3545

Jeff is very very good! Does anyone remember the DCB that Jeff worked his magic on?
After seeing the results and how good it was Dave told Jeff he would never let a bare hull out of his shop again.
He was overwhelmed by people wanting to have what Jeff had done.
Just saying. :)

Jeff might be painting one.... Just sayin ;)

I do it old school, no drawings.... I walk by the project maybe 100 times until something hits me, then I start laying tape. The design will still change many times until I think its perfect. I don't do complete custom paint anymore, we switched to the collision side.... get paid for every minute but I will do it for me

So, it's been a slow day so decided to throw some lines on a SOSA. traced an image i got from one of stblaze08 posts.
And no this isn't my day job, i'm a civil engineer i just like playing around. This is all done in AutoCAD Civil 3d, not the best software for trying to do renderings

SOSA-5 BLUE.jpg

edit: added the blue since it seems everything is going that color lately.
