I could be wrong but believe the Mendeola still shares the small VW reverse gear and is the only weak link in that box.

Few things depreciate like a new SXS High end custom boats do have them beat though.

The difference is that usually the guy with the high end custom boat has enough money not to care.

The lower HP Mendi's had the weak reverse, like the 2D trans. Of course, those are super plentiful and in alot of cars. There are some gnarly transmissions out there now days with full size reverse gears, i think the Weddle S4 / S5, S4S, PBS, etc have them.
